EDUCATION CHIEF ADMIRES FLAPPERS BOSTON, July 20.—"Men will always have their physical superiority in fall back on if women ever try to dominate the world." Dr. W. B. Owen, president, Chicago normal school, and newly elected president, National Education association, so said tonight. "The barriers that have surrounded women are being broken down, but it is slow work, even today," he added. "There is no danger that women will dominate men." Dr. Owen admires "flappers," declaring that all the hue and cry about their slang and dress is uncalled for. He also upholds their right to smoke. "The modern girl in school today will make a better citizen than her mother," he declared emphatically. OCCUPIES HOWE RESIDENCE Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Leonard and family and Mrs. Leonard's mother.
