Returned Traveler Greeted
A delicious little joke was played on Mrs. Alberta Andrews last evening by an intimate company of seven friends, as an informal reception and greeting upon her return home from an extended auto trip to Yosemite and the northern cities.
The fact that one of the auto party was an "unattached" man who very carefully looked after the comforts of Mrs. Andrews during the outing, became known to the visitors and with this in mind, Mrs. S. B. Eaton, her cousin, gowned in her wedding dress of 34 years ago, and Miss Nellie Snyder, the Eatons' house guest, of Los Angeles, impersonating an attentive groom, visited Mrs. Andrews, accompanied by Miss Ella Blackburn, dressed as a witch. Being admitted to the home, "National Ebenezer" and "Rosy Ann" marched about the rooms to the wedding march, played on the victrola, while the witch bestowed "bewitching" smiles.
After a hearty laugh and a pleasant recounting of the trip, Mrs. Andrews served light refreshment.
