There is a decided need for one, and if there is no one to donate a chair, will some one kindly lend one? He resides with his son and family who give him good care, but are unable to purchase a chair. If there is someone who will donate the chair, for its use will be a great pleasure and benefit many times over, communicate with Mrs. John Price, phone 866—, who will cheerfully give any additional information requested. Ross, accompanied by James Hamilton Evans, each sang a group of songs. Miss Gretchen Holland read a characteristic story of the Southern mountaineer girls. Some of the younger girls and boys recited a number of "Mother Goose" missionary rhymes and Mrs. Floyd Curtis gave a most graphic monologue bringing out the thought of what a larger place our social duties have in our lives than our church activities. A very pleasant social hour was spent during which ice cream and cake was served. There was a large number present and all spoke of the very pleasant as well as profitable time they had enjoyed. Mrs. Gertsch and her committee had charge of refreshments. Christian S. S. Taggart Company is announcing new lower prices on the Chevrolet for which the firm is representative in Orange county. In giving out information regarding reduction, Taggert states that the price of the Chevrolet at the factory remains the same, but that cheaper freight rates have made possible the saving. It has always been the policy of the firm to give the car purchaser the benefit of every saving possible, and as a result when lower freight rates were effective, the cuts were immediately passed out down the line. Mr. Taggert states that there are few products that increase in quality and decrease in price, yet that is the existing condition with the Chevrolet. This car in addition to possessing many additional refinements and comforts is today selling at a price much less than two years ago.
