"It is entirely natural that men should remain in the best possible frame of mind and be capable of better effort when they secure more relaxation between loading and unloading. "The heavy jarring on solid tires has a depressing effect on drivers just as it has a depressing effect on trucks, loads and roads. "Equipping trucks with the smooth-going Goodyear cord tires, therefore, encourages the men who handle these vehicles to deliver their best efforts with every load. "They can manipulate trucks more readily in and out of thick traffic and hard positions and their energy is conserved by easy travel on the cushioning pneumatics. "Such facts have borne great weight with executives who have considered the total effect of pneumatics on expenditures for hauling. "They have demonstrated the important advantages of not only equipping trucks to do their best work, but of also equipping drivers with the same purpose."
