THE ORANGE COUNTY PLAIN DEALER, ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA CHOOSES LARGER PLANS FOR EBELL NEW CLUB HOME CALLED meeting of the Ebell club yesterday afternoon, brought out a favorable vote on acceptance of $8000 plans for the proposed club house which the club will build this summer, instead of the $5000 plans as the club has had in mind. The blue prints showed an additional depth of nine feet, a great advantage, and allows other changes in the specifications which will be most satisfactory. Bids will be received in the near future from contractors, and ere the summer is far along dirt will begin to fly on a beau tiful club home of which the members may be justly proud. Upon resignation of Mrs. Ida C. Dutton, Mrs. C. C. Smith was elected vice president of the club to fill the time until next February. It was voted to hold a big picnic luncheon in Orange county park for the next regular meeting, which falls upon June 5. A potluck menu will be served and the club season will close with a real jollification. KIDDIES' PARTY TONIGHT Liberty Court, Order of Amaranth, will have a fine May party this evening when all the kiddies of the members of the court will be guests of honor. All members who have no children are expected to borrow some for the occasion, as it will be an event not to be forgotten by all the little ones who attend. ATTENDS PRE-NUPTIAL PARTY Mrs. A. A. Cohen was among the guests at a luncheon and bridge party at the Palais Royal in Los Angeles recently, as a pre-nuptial compliment to Miss Dorothy Cohen, sister of Mr. A. A. Cohen. RETURNS FROM NORTH Miss Ruth Grim has returned to PRETTY WEDDING OCCURS IN SOUTH AT PASTOR'S HOME BEAUTIFULLY arranged wedding occurred at the El Centro home of Rev. Arthur Schultz, son of H. W. Schultz, of Fullerton, May 12, when Miss Macelle Springer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Springer, of Calexico, was united in marriage to Mr. George De Witt Clark, of Fullerton. The young couple was attended by Miss Erdolpha Clark, sister of the groom, who was bride's maid, and Mr. Owen Dean Edwards, of Fullerton, as groomsman, Mrs. Schultz, formerly Miss Lenton, of Fullerton, played the wedding march. The bride was lovely in her gown of white satin, trimmed in pearl beads, and carrying a shower bouquet of orange blossoms and malden-hair form. Miss Clark wore pink ornament over a silver foundation and carried a shower bouquet of Cecil Bruner roses. Elaborate decorations of Cecil Bruner roses and orange blossoms were used about the rooms, while bright winged butterflies hovered about the pretty blooms. The date was also the birthday anniversary of Dr. Clark, and a combination wedding and birthday breakfast was served in a private dining room at the Barbara Worth hotel. Two beautifully decorated cakes occupied places of prominence on the menu, one the bride's cake, the other the birthday cake. Mrs. E. H. Stone made the wedding cake and Mrs. L. M. Beck presented the birthday cake. The place cards were designed by Miss Clark, and were hand painted brides, carrying bouquets. Directly in front of the bride and groom stood a dimping Kewpie bride and her smiling groom, with the approving minister marr. The color motif was furthered at the table in Cecil Bruners and other pink flowers. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. De Witt Clark, Mrs. J. R., Springer, mother of the bride, and son, Nev, and Mrs. Schultz, of El Centro; Dr. and Mrs. Clark, Miss Clark, Mrs. E. H. Stone, Mrs. L. M. Beck, Mr. O. D. Edwards, of Fullerton; Mr. and Mrs. F. Harrington, of Miss William Ryan. ROSE LUNCHEON FOR MANY GUESTS AT ELKS CLUB LUNCHEON party of most exquisite appointments was given yesterday by Mrs. E. J. Marks at the Elks club, covers being laid for almost forty guests. Four large tables were used, each one centered with a huge basket of pink roses with a cloud of mustard bloom hanging over them. This was an original idea of the hostess, who arranged the centerpieces with her own hands. Place cards with hand painted pink roses marked the covers. A four-course luncheon was served. After the meal the ladies repaired to the parlor, where at nine tables the favorite game, five hundred, was played for entertainment. High score was made by Mrs. James W. Newell, of Placentia, who was awarded with first prize; second went to Mrs William Benchley and third, or consolation, to Mrs Frederick Hezmalhach. Playing were the Mesdames J. W., Newell, C.
