THE ORANGE CITY SPORTING EVENTS
SUNDAY'S GAME AT HIGH SCHOOL FIELD
Anaheim Elks will play next Sunday's game on the high school field here. This was announced today by Manager Billy Knott. Poor attendance at the Commonwealth park, in Fullerton, because it is so far out in the country, and the added fact that there is a better field at the high school prompted the change.
Incidentally, it would be easy to strike a bargain with the owner of the stands at the Commonwealth park. This may interest high school prunees or city park developers.
Manager Knott was not certain today who would furnish the opposition for Sunday's game tho it will probably be Riverside Elks.
Ford Tally, American Association pitcher who faced the locals last Sunday, will be in an Anaheim uniform Sunday.
DOZEN ANAHEIMERS JOIN COUNTRY CLUB
Anaheim will shortly be represented by at least a dozen golfers in the Orange-co Country club at Newport, C. C. Sidnam, B. H. Sidnam and Harry Hathaway are now members. Sunday the Sidnams and Bud Dozler introduced Bud Holland into the mysteries of the ancient and honorable game.

7 MIGHTY HUNTERS SHOOT 275 DUCKS
Bert Kern, Frank Miller, Earl Schrott, Louie Schrott, Wm. Collman, A. C. Miller and Joe Gabonia returned last night from a 10 days' hunting in northwest of Wasco. They shot ducks and five geese. Rains and fog made hunting difficult. They did not have a sunny day on the entire trip. The heavy trains covered the lowlands with water so that instead of finding five small lakes with thousands of ducks huddled together they found one great sea of water with the game widely scattered.

AUDIT A. U. W. CO. BOOKS
Auditors are checking over the books at the local office of the Anaheim Union Water Co. They began yesterday and expect to be busy the remainder of the week. Leo J. Sheridan secretary, was still in town this morning.
They have some very fine lookers in Calif. This young lady, Miss Beth Darlington, recently won a bathing girl's contest. She was pushed against the wall by the photographer, who just wanted one snap of her.
Harold Lloyd is seen today at the California in "Among Those Present" and May McAvoy is seen in "Everything for Sale", making one of the finest programs ever presented in Anaheim.

He Who Hesitates Is Lost
A trite saying but worthy of acceptance.
How often have you known people to hesitate and then pay more? Many say they could have bought the whole Anaheim area some years ago for the price of waste lands. Had they only done so their vaults would now be lined with Gold.
Let us show you a home of six rooms fit for the "400" class, but at a price in the reach of the wage earner, or;
Let us show you a 5-acre Valencia Grove, second to none at its age, with magnificent home and ideal location,
Now is the best time in all the year to buy, and it costs you nothing to investigate these propositions.
