REUNION OF 1905
A. U. H. S. CLASS IS HAPPY EVENT
OTWITHSTANDING the heavy downpour of last evening, a jolly company gathered at the beautiful home of Mr. and Mrs. Peretval Bradford, of Placentia, for a reunion of the class of '05, A. U. H. S.
After greetings, the hostess provided tables where several rounds of five hundred were played, at which first prizes were won by Mrs. C. W. Clark and Mr. Victor La Mont, second prizes by Mrs. Frank Borth and Mr. Walter Mickle, and consolation by Mrs. Walter Mickle and Mr. James Tuffree.
A delicious three-course luncheon was served after the games, the favors being most artistic. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mickle, Mr. and Mrs. Victor La Mont, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Clarke, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Borth, Mr. and Mrs. P. Bradford and two guests, Mr. and Mrs. James Tuffree. The class was composed of eighteen graduates, but more than half of them are near Anaheim. One is in Mr. Lassen, Cal., others in New York state, and yet others in various points in the east. Each year the class holds a reunion; last year eleven of the members were present, who, with their husbands, made a company of twenty-two. This year the number was lessened by absence from town and by the inclement weather, but an enjoyable evening and reunion resulted from the gathering.

SOCIAL EVENT OF FIFTY YEARS AGO IS CELEBRATED
Fifty long and happy years ago there occurred in a certain city a wedding which was a social event, for the people of that city. On Sunday a celebration of that event occurred, at their home in Orange, the principals being Mr. and Mrs. Fred Streech, and the affair being their fifteenth wedding anniversary. The day was made a double entertainment, Xmas and the anniversary both being duly celebrated, the rooms being made gay with Xmas colors.
At noon the guests, which were for the most part relatives, sat down to the table, which was bountifully laden with goodies, the piece de resistance being turkey. A wedding cake similar to the one of fifty years ago was the center of attraction. As a token for the occasion, each son and daughter present gave the happy couple a five dollar gold piece. The ceremony as it happened a half century ago was rehearsed in the afternoon. Other entertaining features followed and a pleasant afternoon was passed all too quickly. The guests departed wishing the couple many more happy years of married life. The guests were from different localities, some coming from Canada to attend the unique celebration.
The visitors of the afternoon at the street home were the Messrs and Mesdames Herman Streech of orma, N. Dakota; W. K. Foster and daughter Hazel, of Minneapolis; D. G. Steinkamp and family, of Sacramento; Lewis Lindeman, North Redwood, Minn.; Arthur Streech of Villa ark; J. C. Smith and family; Jack Whitmore, Long Beach; W. S. Cook and family of El Modena; Mr. G.
