WEEKS WILL FOUND POULTRY COLONY
Charles Weeks, well known as the founder of the "Weeks Poultry System," it is said on good authority, is completing the purchase of 900 acres between Newport Beach and Anaheim Landing, near the new state boulevard, and will subdivide this into a colony where every one interested in poultry raising can buy half an acre or an acre, raising their own green feed. Feed will be furnished, it is understood, at carload lot prices, and eggs hatched at cost and shipped direct to market. Weeks will lecture at the colony once a week, so that the beginner can learn the business under expert guidance.
Poultry experts of Orange county, and men interested in poultry and egg production on a large scale, are much interested in Weeks' project.

Wonder why it is
That a man will buy
A first class automobile
Equip it with cord tires
For economy
And then drive six blocks
To buy cheap oil
For his motor
Well, he can watch his tires
—actually sees their economy
But he can't look into
Bearings and cylinders
The first warning he gets
Of the costliness of cheap oil
Comes too late
Worn bearings, loose pistons,
Lost power and many
Other motor maladies
Make themselves known
After the damage is done
And their story is told

Had he investigated lubrication
And then bought PENNZOIL

He'd still have his

Invariably
PENNZOIL endurance is

FOR SALE
20 acres (1744 acres) which unquestionably stands unchallenged as the best orange grove in this section. A grove with a record, a grove with a future. There is not one weak feature attached to this offering. Upon inspection one becomes impressed with the size of the trees, their vigor, health and thrift condition. The soil is of the finest, setting indicates that it will be one of the heaviest producing 20 acres in Orange-co. This is a grove which has received not only the best care, but all work has been done by the owners themselves. Its location is ideal, situated in city limits, 3 blocks from the new postoffice, with frontage on 3 streets. The only reason this splendid grove is on the market is due to one of the owners being desirous of returning east. It is offered for sale at a ridiculously low figure, and we are prepared to produce figures which will show an income of 22 per cent. This is your one big opportunity to purchase a grove which is now increasing in value. Don't wait until the fruit colors up. Don't wait until the owners change their minds but buy now.

ALLEGES WIFE ERRS AFTER BREAK COMES
Emil Stoffel, who separated from his wife, Reyes Stoffel, eight months ago and has just now filed suit for divorce, does not complain of their married life, but does call her to talk for an act that he alleges she committed December 19.
Allowing for the time required to consult an attorney and prepare a complaint, Stoffel apparently wasted little time after the alleged "overt act," which he charges occurred at San Juan Capistrano last Monday. A co-respondent is named in the suit.
The Stoffels married in Santa Ana August 27, 1916, and separated last April 16. They have two children, aged 4 and 3.
