NEWS OF FULLERTON
DO YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EARLY
Postmaster Blackman of Fullerton urges everyone to do their Christmas shopping early, and mail their Christmas packages early in order to avoid the rush. He says that a number of consignments to the mail is especially that if those intending to ship walnuts to their eastern friends for Christmas will do so at once, it will be much better than to wait later, since the walnuts will keep indelibly. Shipments of nuts are already coming in well, be said.
LEGION MEETS TUESDAY
The regular meeting of the Fullerton Post of the American Legion will be held tomorrow night at the Legion club rooms over the Standard Bank, and a good attendance is desired. The committee will report on the proposed building for a home for the post.
WINTERS IN FULLERTON
H. H. Kaylor of Denver, sales manager for the Hendrie and Bolthuff Mining Co., with which he has been connected 25 years, is spending his winter vacation with his cousins, S. W. Smith, W. A. Smith and Emanual Smith of the Standard Bank of Fullerton.

HELD FOR DRUNKEN DRIVING
A. Maclas and A. Marisa were arrested yesterday by the Fullerton police on the charge of drunkenness. Maclas was charged with driving a car white intoxicated, and Marina with being drunk. They are being held in the Fullerton jail pending arrangement. They will be given a hearing before Judge French, probably this afternoon.
B. OF T. BANQUET WEDNESDAY
The regular monthly meeting of the Boof T. of Fullerton will be held Wednesday evening at the Fullerton high school cafeteria. It is also the semi-annual ladies' night and every mem-

Miss Catherine Utterwelder and mother, Mrs. Utterwelder, and Miss Emma Robinson of East Anaheim motorized to Los Angeles Sunday afternoon, met Miss Amie Wheler, and Mrs. Sophie Harris and attended the matinee at the Morosco.
The Woman's Auxiliary of the Fullerton Post of the American Legion will meet tomorrow night at the home of Mrs. E. J. Marks.
Mrs. C. A. Fiske is very happy, being the possessor of a brand new knife.
The P. T. A. will conduct their regular business meeting in the grammar school tomorrow at 2:30.
Following the meeting a program consisting of a short play entitled "The Princess," will be given. The school orchestra will also give several selections.

Miss Catherine Phillitts of Long Beach spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Rice.
Mr. Jess Horwits of Los Angeles, brother of Mrs. J. Glitz is visiting here for several days.

PLEASANT EVENING
A very pleasant evening was enjoyed Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Leuhn when a number of friends were invited to play cards. Five hundred was the amusement of the evening with Mrs. N. M. Launer winning ladies first prize; Mr. L. J. Woster gentlemen's first prize, Mr. N. M. Launer the booby prize and Mrs. W. S. Estolt the consolation. Playing were the Messrs and Mesdames N. M. Launer, S. E. Proud, L. J. Wester, W. S. Estolt, E. H. Little, R. Prantz, A. Launer, F. Lightfoot, and host and hostess E L. Leuhn. Following the games refreshments were served.
FULLERTON GIRL WEDS
A very pretty wedding occurred yesterday at 4 o'clock, when Miss Minnie Merding became the bride of Mr. Elmer Stewart of La Habra. Rev. Perry of the Baptist church performed the ceremony in the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. E.C. Gravett on E.Amerige. The bride was charmingly dressed in a big satin dress with hat to match and carried a beautiful bouquet of rose buds and fern. Miss Lora Suhrer of La Habra served as bridesmaid while Mr. Elizle Stewart, twin brother of the groom acted as best man.
The rooms were beautifully decorated with Cecil Brunner roses and smilax, which presented a very pretty plumure. After the ceremony a wedding supper was served, after which the newlyweds

Mrs.F.Lightfoot entertained the members of the Busy Needleworkers Embroidery club Thursday afternoon at her home. The afternoon was spent sewing and playing cards, at which Mrs.E.I.leuhn scored highest. Later in the afternoon dainty refreshments were served by the hostess.
Mrs.C.L.Garrison and Mrs.Aimes were among the Los Angeles shopper's Saturday.
Miss Iva Jones of Whittler is visiting Mr. and Mrs.G.A.Watkins.
Earl Nieks, of Redlands, was the guest Sunday of Miss Betty Green.
Mr. and Mrs.J.A.Baker, of Downey, were guests yesterday of Mr. and Mrs.Charles Linebarger, Mrs.Baker being Mr.Linebarger's sister.
Mr.James H.Smith, of Pomona, Mr. and Mrs.William Fackler and Mrs.Adda E.Beckwith of Elwood, were recent guests of their relatives the Charles Linebarger family.

Charles Eygabroad who has been suffering with a touch of grip, was better today.

The Howe Bible class of the First Christian church of Anaheim met in regular session yesterday at 9:30 a.m., at the Nash garage. There were about 40 present. There were a few new members, while some of the old members were out of town.

"The Child Thou Gavest Me" will be seen again tonight at the California. There will also be a surprise vaudeville offering and Charles Hawley will be at the pipe organ.
