BARNOLD'S DOGS
HEAD VAUDEVILLE
Another of those delightful Meiklejohn and Dunn vaudeville road shows which have pleased so many of the patrons of the California Theatre during the past two weeks is coming to Anaheim tomorrow.
Barnold's Dogs headline this wonderful show and these canines are so well trained that they perform without the assistance of a person on the stage. Old and young alike are sure to enjoy this act and the drunk dog, Dan, will make every one laugh who ever him.
"No Mother to Guide Him," is the title of the 500 H. P. laughing success which Stan and Mae Laurel present. This act has just completed a tour of the Pantages and it was received with laughter in every theatre it which it was played.
The Crocker Trio, three dainty misses, consists of three small girls who sing and dance. Altho they are quite petite in size, all three of these talented children have a world of personality and the revue which they present would do credit to performers much older.
"Songs, Bumps and Smiles" are offered by Wilbur and Lyke and the act is appropriately named. Their work on the trampoline is really marvelous and comedy is not the least part of their act.
Everybody's favorite, handsome Frank Mayo, is the star of the protoplay which will be shown in conjunction with this vaudeville program, "the Shark Master" is one of the best pictures Mr. Mayo has ever made and it is a photoplay that is sure to please his many followers.

High School Notes
The students will participate in a grand rally at an assembly at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow. It will be a double event as it will include patriotic readings and talks relative to Armistice day. The members of the "A" club are rehearsing for a very appropriate rally to boost support for the big football game in Fullerton Saturday afternoon. This is Anaheim's last league game and a record crowd is expected to be present. Anaheim men are in the best of spirits. They have been working hard for this game and are very confident of bringing home the big end of the score.
Many students will appear in the S. S. parade tomorrow afternoon and for this reason school will be dismissed at 1:30. To the enjoyment of all there will be no session of school on Nov. 11.
Owing to the great amount of food that is consumed on Thanksgiving day, by the various members of the teaching profession, and also by students of the Anaheim schools, the trustees have granted the usual holidays, which will occur Nov. 24 and 25.
The institutions do not desire to hinder the progress of learning and this is the reason why the two sessions will be omitted, so there won't be any cases of acute indigestion to be doctored.

closely watched. At Gardena the Union's Sommers well is drilling at 4-400 feet and is showing a little gas only.
The Standard Oil Co. has completed arrangements for the final abandonment of Bohon No. 1 and Landowners No. 1 at Hawthorne. Bohon No. 1 went to 5155 and got nothing. Landowners, located on adjoining property, was drilled to only 2-800 feet. A gas blow out was the only feature of the deep Bohon well.
TO SEE ROAD TESTS
Supervisor Howard Wassum, good roads committeeman named by the board of supervisors, and Highway Superintendent J. L. McBride have left for Pittsburg, Cal., where they will witness tests of various kinds of highway construction.
