PREMIER VAUDEVILLE
BILL AT CALIFORNIA
The people of Anaheim will be happy to know that the management of the California Theater has negotiated for high class Vaudeville Road Shows to play in Anaheim every Thursday. It is the policy of the beautiful California Theater no expense in presenting the finest attractions that the picture world affords, and in keeping with this spirit arrangements have been made with Melklejohn and Dunn, of Los Angeles, to secure the big stars of the vaudeville stage as well.
Only the foremost acts of the vaudeville world will be brought to Anaheim. These Vaudeville Road Shows will comprise singers, comedians and acts direct from the world's leading theaters, and from time to time artists of renowned reputation will be headlined. This will give the people of Anaheim the opportunity of enjoying the celebrated artists and acts of the vaudeville stage in conjunction with the finest pictures produced.
The first Vaudeville Road Show of the season will be presented tomorrow. Headlining the show will be Hendrix-Belle Isle and Co., in their great comedy success, "School Days." This act has headlined over both the Keith and Pantages Circuits of Theaters. It is a laugh from start to finish. First, there is the boob school boy, who is the distress of the school and down throat the different types found in a district school.
Davey Jamieson, the well known comedian, also from the Pantages Circuit of Theaters, is on the bill. You will laugh at him and with him, for Davey Jamieson is some comedian!
And to make the program complete for the children as well as the grown ups, Gus Elmore in "Circus Days," comes with this first Vaudeville Road Show. Mr. Elmore and Co. need no special mention. Needless to say, they bring with them the circus atmosphere, the wild-man and all.
On the opening bill there will be five acts and every one a headliner. Altogether it is to be a great show, and capacity houses are expected at both the matinee and evening per-
