ANAHEIM DEFEATS RIVERSIDE 19 TO 0
If Anaheim high graduates can put is much fight into every game as they did yesterday afternoon against Riverside, they will go thro the Orange league like greased lightning. The locals played wonderful football. Players, fans and coach were feeling good after the fray, which was a whitewash for the Mission Inn crew, while the locals were piling up 19 points.
The Anaheim lineup was: Bushard, re; Pile, rt; Ingram rg; Brown, c; Belzold, lr; Giese, lt; Pergas, le; Newkirk, q; Kitchens, f; Cook, lb; Clayes, rt.
Anaheim scored a touchdown in each of the first three quarters. Captain Cook kicking a goal in the first of his three attempts.
Clayes and Cook demonstrated just what a fast backfield they make up. Clayes made several sensational gains around end, reeling off one for 39 and another for 40 yards.
Cook mad consistent gains of five, eight and ten yards off tackle.
Kitchens at full also played a good game.
The line looked much better than it has in recent practice. Give Clayes and Cook a good, stiff line, and they'll play circles around Pullerton.
However, the toksbest game facing Anaheim will be the opening contest of the Orange league with Santa Ana a week from Saturday.
The Riverside team was never threatening but once—in the second quarter—when they brot the ball to Anaheim's 20-yard line on short passes over the line and a rather puzzling formation. However, they fumbled, Anaheim recovering. Riverside made rather liberal use of short passes with some effect early in the night.
SIX SNAPPY BOUTS AT SPARKES' TONITE

Matchmaker Billy Darnley has lined up a crackerjack of a card and following is the complete program which is called for 8:15 p.m.
Main event, 120 pounds—Ad Rubidoux, San Bernardino, vs. Sailor Ro Tollo, U.S.S. Texas.
Semi-windup, 150 pounds—Chick Brown, Huntington Beach, vs. Kid Lamb, San Bernardino.
Special event, 138 pounds—Jimmy Lloyd, Anaheim, vs. "Delhi" Fredericks, Santa Ana.

Young Stanley and Red Howard will raise the curtain at 165 pounds.

GROVES OF MERIT
We are offering two groves of unusual value. One is equipped with a most modern home with elegant appointments, located in an ideal community, close to Anaheim, and is every foot the very best of soil and is in a high state of crop production now. The price and terms on this are just right.
Another is 10 acres of 14 year Valencias, with good improvements, plenty of water, and the soil is perhaps fifty feet deep and of the very best quality for Orange production. In addition to all these good qualities the Standard Oil Cell is producing oil on this place now.
Still it is worth all we are asking for it as a grove, and you get the oil for good measure. We can make payments on this that can be met with the crop each year.
These are both exceptional chances, and we shall be very glad to prove it.
