REPORTS FINE TRIP NO. IN STUDEBAKER When Mr. Geo, C. Pickering of Fullerton, returned recently from a motoring trip to Seattle one of the first things he did after getting home was to tell Harry D. Riley, the Studebaker distributor, what a fine time his party had and how much the performance of the car contributed to the enjoyment. He also did a little bragging about the economy of operation for in keeping close tab on all gasoline and oil consumption he found that his Studebaker Six Ttouring made 19.9 miles on every gallon of gasoline and got over 1200 miles for each gallon of lubricating oil. As he had no mechanical adjustments to make or have any garage bills he declared that he had some right to be a little chesty about his ability as a car operator, but also gave the car due credit for its share of the economy records set up. $75,000 BUILDING IS PLANNED AT S. A. The Fairhaven Land & Improvement Co., composed of men who control Fairhaven cemetery, announce plans for a two or three-story block at northwest corner of Main and Sixth streets, Santa Ana.
