PLAN FOR FUNERAL
OF JESS L. FOSTER
Arrangements are being made for the funeral of Private Jess L. Foster, whose body arrived home from France last week, where he was killed during the war, which will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Schurr, a sister who is ill, was brought today from four miles north of San Fernando to the home of her mother, Mrs. Apcar, on the Fullerton-Garden Grove-rd, in a scale ambulance in order that she might be at the funeral.
The service will be conducted by the pastor of the Garden Grove church and the choir from that church will sing the hymns.
Following the service the members of the American Legion will take charge and give the body military burial in the cemetery at Artesia.
Those service men detailed by the post to serve as escort from the station to the funeral parlors are Morris Ford, A. W. Ruble, Walter Frantz and Stanley Chapman.
President Coulter of the city trustees of Fullerton issued a proclamation in which he calls upon the patriotic business men and citizens of the community to lay aside their business cares during the hour of the funeral of Private Foster.

ANAHEIM MEXICAN IN FULLERTON JAIL
U. Gullard of the Anaheim sugar factory Mexican colony is being held in jail at Fullerton on the charge of having stolen two wheels from Fullerton parties. He will be given a hearing before Judge French this afternoon. There were also a number of other things found in his house which the police think may have been stolen and investigations are being made.
The judge was faced this morning by the usual number of traffic violators who had been heralded before him by Traffic Cop Bernhill, who is becoming a terror to evil doers in the traffic line in Fullerton since his arrival there. They were given the usual $10 fine, and sent on their way to keep their thots company, and wish that there was one less traffic cop on the job.
The Fullerton police also reported that a car belonging to Jack Bryan who lives near Brea, was turned off the boulevard when trying to go around a curve too fast a speed on the Brea-Fullerton-rd., and caught fire and was practically destroyed yesterday. Fortunately no one was injured.

Now Saves You
$705 to $955
Hudson is always included in that small group, which men consciously or not, classify as the really great cars.
What do you ever think how much less Hudson costs than its common leaders?
Do you realize that even when the Super-Six last year sold for $170, it was from $1200 to $1500 under-priced for the field in which it ranked by performance, quality, reliability and distinction.
A Distinctive Price Advantage
Never was Hudson's price advantage over cars of comparable quality so striking as now. It is in all respects as great a car, and many refinements even greater than last year's Super-Six. And think, that then, at $3170 it outsold all fine cars, as it had one for five years previously.
Now with Hudson at the medium price of $2315 does any higher-priced car offer qualities to warrant their vastly increased price differential?
And of the cars in its new price range is there one that you ever often distantly associated with Hudson in any wanted quality?
