The fire of one Jaye Boone is up. Boone is chief traffic officer of San Bernardino county.
He's "all hiat up" over reckless driving on the Bear valley grades and he sweats that he is going to put a stop to this.
All this is said here to give warning to Orange-co motorists who travel the Bear Valley roads to watch out.
Boone has been talking to a San Bernardino newspaper man and here is what the newspaperman passes out to readers:
"Declaring that driving, such as done by one woman in a large car over the Crest road recently, was unheard of in the annals of mountain motoring, Boone has declared war on reckless speeders."
"The feminine driver in question, leaving Big Bear in the morning, smashed the fenders of three cars and put the mail stage out of commission by crashing around a corner into it. The driver of the stage saw the woman coming and stopped against the bank, allowing plenty of She came around the bend at an excessive speed crashing into the front end of the truck.
"This is the first case of the kind reported this year, states Boone, and as the name of the woman is known, it is thought that she will receive punishment."
"Reckless driving in the mountains cannot be tolerated," said Boone, "for there are too many lives depending upon the care taken by everybody. The roads are in good shape and fair speed may be maintained by all, if they keep on the alert and blow their horns for the corners."
JAIL BEAUTIES IN TALBERT BURGLARY
Two pretty Mexican girls, Margarita Vega, 18, and Luce De Torri, 20, and Rudolfo Martínez, 19, today were prisoners in the county jail in default of $1000 ball each following their arraignment before Justice of the Peace Cox on a charge of robbing the Parron's general merchandise store at Talbert on the night of July 13.
Each of the prisoners was arraigned separately, the young man being brot in first. All pleaded not guilty and their trials were set for August 24 at 2 p.m.
The elder of the two girls told the court that she is married and that her husband is in Mexico. She said she has a job in San Bernardino and is supporting her baby.

Lots at Anaheim Landing
For Over 60 Years Anaheim Landing
Has been the most famous watering resort in Southern California.
The old timers selected it on account of its quiet bay, full of shell fish, a true arm of the sea.
For the first time in all that period building lots can now be purchased facing right on the bay.
Paved streets, Water, Gas and Electricity are now being installed.
Less than 75 lots are for sale.
