Grand Ave. Helsbels- As an economic and humanitarian measure, the project has the approval of the supervisors of Orange and Riverside counties, as expressed at a meeting of the supervisors of the two counties with Mrs. Tate Thompson, a representative of the state board of health. Imperial county was not represented at the meeting. The agreement reached in substance is this: The board of supervisors of each of the three counties is to reach a decision as to how far it is willing to go this year in financing a tri-counties tubercular sanitarium, and how far it will go next year. With Imperial not represented, and the supervisors of Riverside and Orange counties not yet having had time to work out their budgets for the coming year, the meeting yesterday is to be regarded as an important preliminary meeting pointing the way to the establishment of a place where proper care may be given in an export way to those who have contracted tuberculosis. There are a number of sanitaria in the state operated jointly by two or more counties. That these sanitaria are saving lives and aiding in the prevention of the spread of tuberculosis was asserted by Mrs. Thompson. A tri-counties tubercular sanitarium project was discussed a year ago and at that time an agreement in a general way as to its feasibility was reached. It has been frequently urged by Mrs. Thompson. In opening the discussion, Supervisor Finley said that the Orange-co board is figuring upon using a heavy proportion of its funds this coming year in getting its paved roads back into shape, and it will have "to go light" on some other projects. Two sites were offered. One is 160 acres at Box Springs for $6000 with 1 1/2 inches of water and almost no improvements. The other is a building formerly used as a private school together with 270 acres, 1 1/2 inches water from one spring, two springs undeveloped, a well that should produce six or seven inches of water; cost $11,000. Cole to anticipate the trend of motor car advancement in years past has given the announcement of a reduction of $700 to $455 in the price of Cole Aero-Eights added significance in the industry. With the vision that has characterized the building of Cole Aero-Eights from the very inception of the company the new car at the lower prices actually costs $200 more to build—a better car for less money. For a decade Cole has been known for his innovations in automobile design and construction, for his contributions to automotive engineering. From the beginning it has been his purpose to create rather than follow. The Cole Motor Car Co. was one of the first two manufacturers to produce an eight-cylinder car. So successful has been the Cole Aero-Eight that from the beginning the company has concentrated its efforts upon the development of this one type. Today the 80-horse power Cole motor is remarkable for its economy as well as its wide range of performance. Temperature, pressure, acceleration, are mechanical problems that find their highest perfection in the Cole motor. But as remarkable as has been the A Thief Proof Alarm —That gives the Helsbels equipped car absolute security from theft — no thief dare tamper with your car — its accessories, tires or any object attached to it. Helsbels cannot be turned off — it clamors for attention the instant your car is moved, jarred or touched — and yet the alarm stops the instant tampering ceases. —Write for prices and demonstrations today.
