City Briefs Mrs. Herace Oney and two children and Jess Koontz and Miss Norma Meckes motored to Long Beach yesterday. Mrs. A. H. Koehlg, of Jasna-at., was in Los Angeles for a few days visiting her son, R. W. Koehlg. Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Kuebler and son, Chester, will enjoy the day tomorrow at Balboa. Mrs. W. E. Robertson, of Huntington Beach, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Abern, of W. Center-at. Miss Marie Robertson will go to Huntington Beach tomorrow for a day with friends there. Mrs. John Price, of Olive, is enjoying a visit from her mother, Mrs. Brittis, of Long Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Richter, of the Imperial valley, arrived today for several days visit with Mr. Richter's father, Adolph Richter and family. John Boysen, past exiled ruler of E. P. O. E. lodge 213, Huntington, W. Va., is the guest of his old time friends, the Homer Eddys, at Hansen station; Mr. Boysen is on the coast for the grand lodge meeting at Los Angeles. Mrs. W. W. Johnson has returned from Long Beach where she has been sojourning for a few days. Mrs. McDowell is quite ill at the home of her son, Mr. M. D. McDowell. Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Rogers of Princetia will entertain the following at dinner tomorrow; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hanson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hanson and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Spehger and family. Miss Campbell, who has been nursing Mr. W. C. Mauerhaus's small daughter left this morning, Little Annie is recovering from the measles. Miss Margaret and Winifred Hazen, of Banning, have been spending the week with their little cousins, Misses Lenore and Ruth McAllister. Mrs. J. P. Mayhew is entertaining her niece Mrs. Risley and children Robert, Edna and Joe, of Indianapolis, Ind. They plan to stay a month or six weeks. Simpson of the Standard Minerals Co leaves tonight for Kingman, Arlsr to visit the molybdenite property of the company. He expects to return Monday. Miss Margaret Walhall, of New York, is a guest for a month of Miss Alice Pannier. The two became acquainted during the war, at Washington, D.C., where both were in the employ of the government. Next week they will spend at Catalina. Dr. and Mrs. G. Peterson, of Moline Ill., who are touring So Cal by auto, were guests yesterday at the George W. Hamler home on Clementine-st. Walter Hodges today re-centered the employ of L.P. Pomomer as salesman for the Chalmers and Hupmobile automobiles. Mr. and Mrs. F.M.Bungay and two sons will spend Sunday with Mr.Bungay's sister in Venice. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Gilbert of Bakersfield, and Mr. and Mrs.Louis Beck and two sons, of Anaheim, are camping over the week-end at Mr.Gilbert's ranch at Corona. Miss Jennie Fridd, of Fullerton, but well known in Anaheim, leaves soon for Appleton, Wis., and other cities in the state to visit relatives and friends for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs.Abbett Cook left today for Los Angeles, where they will remain for two or three days, then go to a hot spring resort near that city for a week's vacation. Garretson drove to San Bernardino Thursday to visit with friends and relatives. Mrs. Jennie Wood Jones and Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Hunt were in Fullerton Thursday evening to view the pictures of the World war as shown under the auspices of the American Legion of that city. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt will remain with Mrs. Jones on the ranch for a month, all will go to Long Beach for a vacation. Mrs. Jones will make her home in Fullerton upon the return from the beach. Mrs. P. P. Burdick of La Habra, and her granddaughter, Irene Burdick, are visiting for a few days with Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Ingraham. Mrs. and Mrs. L. W. Swisher have returned from Washington, where they have resided for some time, and will locate in Santa Ana. Mrs. Swisher is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Ingraham. Little Audrey Ann Kucpl is suffering from a painful injury to her foot, having stepped on a rusty nail. She is under a doctors care and is doing as nicely as could be expected. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Yorbs, of Orlando were guests this week of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goodrich, the ladies being cousins. Mr. Goodrich and Mr. Yorbs enjoyed a fishing trip during their visit. Miss Eleanor Parker, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Barbara Parker, are in Los Angeles this week visiting relatives. They will remain about 10 days. Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Peterson, of Meine, Ill., but who are residing for the present in Long Beach, were guests and daughter, Ella, are guests of their brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kempton. They are so well pleased with California and Anaheim in particular that they have decided to make their home here. Mr. R. Vivian, from Grass Valley, is the guest this week of his sister, Mrs. W. H. Kidd, Mr. Vivian is delighted with the climate, there being a great difference between the high temperature at his home and the pleasant weather here. Mrs. A. H.
