PAGE BECOMES OF BOWLERS It is becoming the time of the best bowling coast is evidenced from three stars from the last have been attractively decided to locate. Form, of Portland, Champion, who rolled events, win, champion of the league, with a seat of 198. He is wearing sul medal on his watch. J. B. Kunz, who rolled 193 for the season in the Portland City league. With these sharks gathered into the local fold, there has already been evidenced a decided aversion on the part of Long Beach to meet up with Anaheim. In the belief of local fans, other So. Calif. teams are going to become similarly reticent as the good news spreads. Anaheim expects to make itself known in the sweepstakes event on June 20 at the grand opening of the new Venice bowling alleys which, by the way, are to be operated by Billy Mason, formerly of Anaheim. The above mentioned trio, with Karam and Johnson or Gordon, are expected to be good enough to make it interesting for the 50 or 75 other teams that will be entered in the Venice affair. It is expected that Heffron, Goodwin and Kunz will be 32nd degree Elks by the opening of next year's So. Calif. Elks Bowling league in which case it will be a case of too much Anaheim even more so than this year.
