SOCIETY
Many Enjoy Mock Wedding
About 150 persons gathered in the social hall of the White Temple last night at the joint class party of the Ladies' Fidellis and the Men's Bible Classes where a delightful time of games and other amusements were enjoyed by all present.
The main feature of the evening was a mock wedding staged by members of the men's class in the Sunday school auditorium. J. T. Garrison as Angelica Arabella Jones took the part of a dainty blushing bride over 6 feet tall, dressed in the very latest thing in wedding gowns, while Earl W. Baum as Chauncy Algernon Schuyler with black mustache and goatee took the part of the groom. N. R. Phillips as the Rt. Rev. Geo. Imbe Scelie (Imbecile), took the part of the parson and read an original humorous marriage ceremony. The bridesmaids were Lyle A. Felton as Miss Dorothea Felicia Jones, sister of the bride, Perry Mathis, as Blanche Claribel Van Twiller and Mason Brown as Jullette Ophelia Cameron, all buxom maids nearly or quite 6 feet and leaders in high society. The best men were H. W. Lewis as Ethelbert Alphonse Jones, Warren Mathis as Plas Theophilus Van Twiller and Mr. Jones as Cecil Leonidus Schuyler. All, including the groom, were noticeably of shorter stature than the ladies. Little Miss Fern Mathis and Phylura Felton, the only real ladies in the party, as flower girl, and ring bearer were very winsome. Wade Westlake as Madamolssie Concordia Mizenlingue.
(missing link), an accomplished pianist from the Boston Conservatory of Music (a long way from it) made a decided hit with the audience, Mr. E. L. Hatcher, as Madam Celestine Inque Batoire (Incubater) a lyric soprano of wide fame fairly brought the house down with his songs. The maids and bride wore white dresses and hats made in the very latest style and the best men and groom also were right up to snuff with the styles in the clothes they wore. Mr. Johi Hemnil and Mr. F. T. Edminson, in a very witty way, made objections to the wedding and brought charges of tickleness, etc. against the groom who replied by declaring that they had both been suitors for the hand of the bride and were just showing their spite against the groom because by his handsome form he had won the bride away from them. The noole ceremony was carried out splendidly and it would be hard to say which one acted his part best and by the laughter and applause of the audience it made a decided hit as an entertaining feature.
After the ceremony a reception for the bride was held in the basement, which added greatly to the amusement. The father of the bride, Mr. Twinem as the Hon. Horace Forsythe Jones, certainly looked for the part as a typical Kentucky Colonel with his gray hair, mustache and goatee.
After the reception, delightful refreshments of ice cream and cake were served.
Mr. Cornell, the photographer, was on hand and took two flashlight pictures of the wedding party. Groom presented the parson with a basket of assorted vegetables as the wedding fee which was very much appreciated by him, especially the onions.

JUST LISTEN TO LOUISE'S NEW ELECTRIC TOO DAD SHE DOESN'T KNOW OF BASSICK G.P.O. OIL
Embarrassing!
Squeaky springs cause a lot of embarrassment. If your new car shows signs of developing a lusty squeak, you'd better get after it with a pint of Bassick Graphite Penetrating Oil. Squirt a few drops along the edges of the springs—no need to wedge spring leaves apart—and let the oil get in its good work.
It penetrates to the innermost recesses of the squeak and instantly dissolves the rust that causes it. The film of dry graphite left by the oil effectually prevents the return of the rust.
Get a pint can of Bassick Graphite Penetrating Oil today from your accessory or hardware dealer. Money back if you're not satisfied with the results.
