There will be an hour's musical program by local members of the Santa Ana high school orchestra.
A Lovelace, organization manager of the California Federation and farm bureau, will give an address on the subject, "Accomplishments of State and Federated Farm Bureau." Mr. Lovelace is making a special trip to Orange-co, to wind up the membership campaign.

At 7:30 the series of revival meetings began to continue every evening to and including May 8. All are cordially invited to attend and hear of the conversion of an infidel and his family, thru the influence of a personal worker. At the revival being conducted by Emma Suess in the Free Methodist church, the daughter will relate the remarkable experience next Sunday evening.
Evangelist Suess is an interesting and powerful preacher. F. A. Amey pastor.
News of the sudden death of E. H. Mosher, which occurred at 7 o'clock Sunday morning, came as a great shock to his relatives and friends here.

STANDARD DRILLS AT GARDEN GROVE
GARDEN GROVE, April 25—Practically all of the signatures to the papers by which the Garden Grove Petroleum Co.is transferring its interest in 700 acres under lease at Garden Grove to the Standard Oil Co.have been secured.
Negotiations have all been completed, the terms are settled upon and the transfer seems to be generally satisfactory to all concerned. The delay in announcing the transaction as completed lay in the fact that some of those whose signatures are necessary have not been readily available.
Under the agreement entered into with the Standard people, drilling for oil at Garden Grove must begin within 90 days. It is understood that the derrick erected by the Garden Grove Co.on Edward Chaffee's property will be utilized.

News of the sudden death of E. H. Mosher, which occurred at 7 o'clock Sunday morning, came as a great shock to his relatives and friends here.
Mr. Mosher retired in apparent good health Saturday evening. Sunday morning he arose at the usual time, and had just finished reading a passage from the Bible when he suddenly fell from his chair and before a physician could be summoned had passed away. His death was attributed to heart trouble.
Mr. and Mrs. Mosher purchased the Chandler-bidg just south of the News office several months ago, where they were conducting a variety store, occupying living rooms in the rear.
The funeral was held at three p.m. Tuesday from the Smith and Tuthill chapel, Santa Ana, services being conducted by Rev. Parks of Santa Ana, and Rev. Spade.
Mr. Mosher had been a member of the United Brethren church for a number of years. He was born in Gouvenuer, N.Y., Sept. 14, 1857, being 63 years, 7 months at the time of his death. He and his wife moved here from Santa Ana, Dec. 1, 1920.
Aside from the widow, he is survived by a brother, George Mosher of Garden Grove, four daughters, three of whom are living in the East, and Mrs. C. A. Shackleford of this place, and two sons, one residing in New York and one at Hot Springs, S. D.
Tuesday, April 20, beginning at 10 a.m., there will be an all-day demonstration on preserving fruits and vegetables by the drying method, in the home economics room of the Garden Grove grammar school.
This will be given by Miss Clark, under the auspices of the state agricultural department. She will explain how home demonstration work is carried on in a number of counties of this state. This should be interesting to all the ladies of this community.
Mrs. Violett is in charge of arrangements for the demonstration.
Mr. and Mrs. Vachtes and Mr. and Mrs. Muggleton of Los Angeles were guests at the home of Rev. and Mrs. J. M. Richmond the first of the week. They were formerly friends in the East.
Jack Jentgre, Anson Mott, Henry Carner and Guy Mansperger departed Thursday morning on a fishing trip to Three Rivers. They expect to be gone about six days.

ESTATE OF JAMES ADAMS DECEASED.
Notice is hereby Given, by the undersigned, executor of the last will of James Adams, deceased, to the creditors of and all persons having claims against the said deceased to file them with the necessary vouchers in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of the County of Orange, State of California, or to exhibit the same with the necessary vouchers to the said executor at his have been secured.
It is understood that the derrick erected by the Garden Grove Co. on Edward Chaffee's property will be utilized.
While Garden Grove has been recognized for years as the center of a steadily developing section, while it has a solid backing in shipments of oranges, walnuts, beans, peppers, plentos, poultry, eggs and other products, the bringing in of an oil well would revolutionize the life of Garden Grove. Oil would add just that much to a community and section that are already decidedly on the map.
A large share of the credit for the development of the Garden Grove section into what it is today—an area in which orchards and annual crops vie with each other for favor—is due to the pumping plant. Water has been brot up from beneath the surface of the earth, and has made the excellent soil of this section grow anything that will grow anywhere in Orange-co.
The fact that water costs little and can be had on a moment's notice has had a good deal to do with the development of the pepper industry here.
It used to be supposed that the pimento could be grown commercially nowhere in the world but in certain portions of Spain. Garden Grove has upset that notion for pimentos are grown more successfully here than anywhere in Spain.
The development of this section for the growing of valencia oranges is a mark dbit of industrial history here. There is now a citrus packing house here located on the tracks of the P.E.
What water has been to Garden Grove in the past, oil may be in its future. The discovery of oil here will mean much to a large number of industrious citizens, men and women who thru orchard and farm development have done a lot to make Orange-co the real county it is. But if oil is not discovered, Garden Grove will have its soil and pumping plants and will continue its substantial development as a community greatly worth while for any county on earth.

PAIGE
The Most Beautiful Car in America
The One True Test
The one sure way to determine actual motor car value is by a thorough, exhaustive demonstration.
In the show room, you can tell at a glance whether a car satisfies your artistic demands. The next step, then, is to get out on the road and discover what lies under the hood. Power, Speed and Endurance are qualities of action that only a ride can establish.
We suggest just this course in judging any Paige 6-66 model. We go one step farther, however, and invite you to compare it with any other car—at any price—on the American market. Take the comparative demonstrations first. Then inspect the price tags.
The Paige-Dayton model, remember, is the stock car speed Champion of the world. And the motor that you will find under a 6-66 hood belong to Paige and Paige alone. Don't forget that.
