But our city would have three times, yes five times its
population today—with many more industries, many
more new stores and scores of beautiful residences as
well as all the modern city improvements, more streets
would be paved and your real estate would have doubled
in value—if all of our citizens had always been true to
Anaheim, BUYING ALL OF THEIR GOODS AT
HOME and boosting for our own Community Development.
But our city would have three times, yes five times its population today—with many more industries, many more new stores and scores of beautiful residences as well as all the modern city improvements, more streets would be paved and your real estate would have doubled in value—if all of our citizens had always been true to Anaheim, BUYING ALL OF THEIR GOODS AT HOME, and boosting for our own Community Development during the past ten years.
The profits on merchandise bought by our citizens from mail order houses and stores in other cities during the past ten years would build and operate a big factory and keep employed several hundred men who would earn high wages.
