HOSTNESS ON BIRTHDAY
Mrs Margaret Bock, daughter of Mrs Paul Bock, 119 Norm Philadelphia-at, was the gracious hostess on Saturday after to a number of her girl friends. Occasion was her eleventh birthday anniversary. The guests were entertained at the matinee at Fairyland after which they returned to the Bock home where they further entertained with them, etc. Mrs. Bock served a charity luncheon. A color scheme of blue and white was used in the decorations. The chosen flowers were blue and white hyacinths with cherry ferns had been pretty arranged. The centerpiece was a love-tite and white birthday cake leaved white candies in blue.
Largaret received a number of gifts with the best wishes friends.
Guest list included Katherine Frances Haverty, Lucile Rich, Bernice and Juanita Enfield, Madeline Moore, Augus-Muckenthaler, Naomi Nenno, Nancy Merrill and Marguerite Bock Bloomington.
ENTERTAINS WITH DINNER
Ms Betty West entertained Sat- day evening with a six o'clock party in honor of her birth- anniversary. Poinsettias and hearts were used for decorations on the favors were pretty valen- the center of the table was a birthday cake beautifully leed decorated in rose buds. Miss guests included Misses Elsa Lymburner, Alice Gray, San Pedro, Lydia Davis, Lanette Ruele, Helen West, Josephine Lopez, Mr. and Mrs. Dick West and baby of Los Angeles. Following the dinner they were joined by Messrs. Albert Updyke, Levitt Ford and Bud Dozier and all attended the dance at Olive.
FLOWER SHOP PRESENTED
The Flower Shop will be present-ed Wednesday at the Anaheim high school. It will cost ten cents or more if you are furnished with "piezas de dicz centaros."
A silver offering will be taken. Johnnie, as Slovsky, the Jew propletor, will make you want to talk Yiddish. Ed Brown, as the lover, who is too buoy to get married, finally falls into the trap that Maude (Notle Abbott), the clever little flower girl, sets for him. Oral Gordon, the tough little errand boy, sympathizes with Maude and helps her scheme to a finish.
ENTERTAINS ON BIRTHDAY
Mrs Henry Heyling entertained on Friday evening with a small family gathering in honor of her birthday anniversary. Music and carr made the evening pass very quickly, while at a late hour the hostess served a dainty luncheon.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hagadorn, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Frey Heyling, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Lake, Hermann Kolks.
YEOMAN MEET TONIGHT

B SHARP CLUB RECITAL
The Anaheim branch of the B Sharp Club, composed of the pupils of Mrs. C. A. McCullah, met in the Methodist White Temple Saturday afternoon. The first part of the afternoon was given over to a splendid program given by members of the club, to which about 75 friends responded to invitations.
Following the program a short business session was held in which the organization of the club was completed, and the following officers elected: President, Hazel Filler; secretary, Natalie Stankey; treasurer, Alma Cordes. At the Social hour a number of musical games were played and candy served.

Walter Naugle, a student in Los Angeles, spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Naugle, East Center-st. He was accompanied by his friend, Earl Alling.
S. E. Waite and daughter, Miss Helen, of Los Angeles, spent Sunday in this city, guests in the home of Mr. Waite's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Waite on N. Olive-st.
Bloyd Baker, who is a student at the California Institute of Technology at Pasadena, was a week-end visitor in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Baker, on Katella-rd.
Mrs. F. S. Trotter and two little boys, of Spokane, Wash., arrived yesterday for a visit of several weeks at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. B. Holland, and other relatives.
Mrs. Jann Bandinel and small son, Gilman, returned yesterday to their home in Hollywood after spending the week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Camp, Lincoln-blvd.
Mrs. H. K. Boyd and son, James, were the dinner guests yesterday of Mr. and Mrs. Welcome Ward, of Santa Ann. Mr. Lloyd Corser, of Long Beach, was also a guest in the Ward home.
Mrs. Sarah Faye, mother of James Faye, of Buena Park, and one of the pioneers of Anaheim, who has been ill at the Anaheim sanitarium, was taken to her home Saturday afternoon in a Seale ambulance.
Miss Kathleen Loy of the Pasadena high school faculty, spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor D. Loly, S. Clementine St. Mrs. McInturff and daughter, Agnes, of Pasadena, were also guests in the Loly home.
Mr. and Mrs. Lund, Mr. and Mrs. R. Gherkins, Mr. and Mrs. Wise were members of a party which went to Los Angeles on Sunday and attend-
field. They enjoyed the various "stunts" but the flyers were somewhat handicapped on account of the wind.
Mrs. E. B. Camp and Mrs. Juan Bandinel and son, Gilman, motored to Long Beach Saturday, where they attended a picnic at Bixby park of over 100 former Billings, Montana people. They had a most delightful day, meeting many friends.
H. A. Markle, wife and baby son, Parker, arrived last Thursday from St Joseph Mo., and are guests in the home of Mr. Markle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Markle. They will settle here permanently if they can find a suitable location.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Baker and Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Allen and son, George were among the Anaheim folks who attended the North Dakota picnic at Sycamore grove Saturday. There was an unusually large crowd and an excellent good time enjoyed.
A good program was carried out and a picnic dinner, voted 100 per cent perfect served.
Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Jones and son, Joquilh, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Little, were in Los Angeles visiting yesterday.
They attended the Temple Baptist church service, which was the eleventh anniversary of Dr. Brougher's pastorate. In the afternoon they motored to Santa Monica where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Boles, of Mirimar hotel.
Mrs. W. H. Kidd, Mr. and Mrs. Mason Squire, Mrs. E. P.Squire, Mr. and Mrs.D.Collings and Mr.Mrs.John Morse of Pine Island,Minn., who are spending the winter here were members of a party which went to Long Beach on Sunday and enjoyed a picnic.The dinner menu was served at the pier and the afternoon hours spent in enjoying the various attractions offered by the beach city.
