J. E. SEALE RECEIVES $6000 AMBULANCE
J. E. Seale funeral parlors today received the new hospital-on-wheels ambulance recently ordered, the finest on the Pacific coast, calling for a consideration of more than $6000. Mr. Seale purchased it not only for Fullerton but also for Anaheim and surrounding towns. He stated that this ambulance will be used for the conveyance of sick and invalids only, as other ambulances of this locality are used partly for carrying the dead.
This one has a wheel base of 148 inches, springs being undersprung to make it easy riding; six-cylinder, 90 horse power motor, speed 70 miles an hour and disteel wheels. Interior furnishings include the latest style cots for two or three patients, two attendants' seats with side doors for the attendants to enter, an eight-inch electric fan, hot and cold water, perfection heater for cool weather, a cabinet for all first-aid equipment. Mr. Seale has had several years' experience in caring for the sick and injured and knows their needs, and will respond to calls at a second's notice.
