RIVER STUDY BILL GOES TO GOVERNOR
Scientific study of the Santa Ana area in preparation for future control plans is practically assured with the passage Wednesday night by the state senate of a bill by semblyman Knight of Redlands, propritating $5,000 for the study. The plan is for the state Federal government, and the cities of Orange, Riverside, and Bernardino to co-operate in carry out the study plan. Very few votes were cast against the which had already been passed the Assembly and now goes to governor for his signature.
NEW ORANGE BLOOM
Plans have been approved for construction of a new business at the southwest corner of Oman ave., and Olive st., and it ispected that the work of building be under way within a short time.
The building will be erected by H. Kredel of Santa Ana, who recently purchased the corner, known the Armor corner, from Hart Craemer. A one-story built 66x100 feet will be put up. It be built of hollow tile, finished in ment with brick pillars.
It is understood that the building is to be occupied when complete the Orange County Ignition Company and E. G. Stinson.

The second installment of taxes will go deliquant Monday at 6 o'clock. The taxpayer desires to save himself trouble confusion can best pay his taxes writing out a check, made payable J. C. Lamb, tax collector, and this check to Lamb, together the yellow tax bill that was last fall to each taxpayer. They bound to be a rush at the taxlector's office Monday, for, as usual a good many people have waited till the eleventh hour for payment their taxes.

3 HURT IN SMALL
Three people were seriously injured Friday evening when automobiles driven by Wm. Babylon and A Havens came together on South Street, Santa Ana.
Mr. Havens had two ribs broken and his five year old son was thrashed out and bruised. Oscar Tyrell, ing with Mr. Havens, had his shoe dislocated.
Both machines were badly damaged.
