OLINDA, April 16.—Special—About 95 people were in attendance at the church supper last evening at the Santa Fe Boarding house given by the Olinda M. E. church. A very pleasant time was reported.
Mr. Joe Yaeger of the Olinda lease was a business visitor in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Mrs. Ferguson and son of the Olinda lease spent Wednesday in Buena Park.
Mrs. W. H. Schryer and son Alvin, daughter Gertrude, motored to Los Angeles on business, Tuesday.
The Fraternal Brotherhood of Olinda gave a barbecue at La Vida Springs Tuesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee and son of the General Petroleum lease went to Los Angeles on business Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gaince of Carbon Conyon, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Brown of the Santa Fe lease, and Mr. and Mrs. Flynn and children attended the show in Anaheim Tuesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Johnston, Helen and Lloyd Johnston motored to Los Angeles Wednesday on a shopping tour.
Mrs. W. P. Logan and Freida Williams of the Columbia lease went to Anaheim on business Wednesday.

Harold Berger, of Orange, who has had charge of a 20-acre orange grove between Anaheim and Orange for a number of years, has purchased Lot 37 of the Peralta Hills Trust which is in the Peralta Hills Water Co.

SHELL—JOHN KNOX
The lecturer-evangelist, Mr. John Knox asserts there are just eight texts of scripture in the New Testament which mentions the first day of the week, commonly called Sunday; but in no instance do they enjoin or command its observance as a holy day.
"Matt. 28:1 declared the Sabbath ends before the first day can dawn: Mark 18:1,2, asserts that the Sabbath was past when the first day came—while Luke, 23:54 and 24:1 presents three days, one following the other. First comes the preparation day; then the Sabbath; and then the first day of the week. The Sabbath here referred to is the one according to the commandment.
"That the first day of the week could not possibly be the Sabbah, is further proved by the fact that Jesus, by his own blood, was to seal up the New Testament or Covenant. Heb. 9:15, 16. The principle involved in sealing a testament or will is clearly set forth in the sacred word. See Gal. 3:15. After a will has been executed and the testator has died there can be no change in that will. To add to that will after the death of the testator is but the work of a for-

Order to show cause why order of sale of both real and personal property should not be made.
Theo. A. Winbigler, the administrator of the estate of Belle W. Bruce, deceased, having presented to the Court and filed herein his verified petition in the form of law, praying for an order for the sale of all real property and all personal property of said Belle W. Bruce, deceased, for the purposes therein set forth, and it appearing to said court by said petition, that it would be for the advantage, benefit, and best interest of the estate, and those interested therein, to sell the whole of said real estate, and that, it is necessary to sell the whole of the personal property to pay the debts outstanding against said deceased, and the debts, expenses and charges of administration.
It is therefore ordered by this court that all persons interested in the estate of said deceased appear before said court on Friday the 16th day of May, 1919, at the hour of 10 o'clock of said day, at the court room of said court, in Department I thereof, in the County of Orange, State of California, to show cause why an order should not be granted to said administrator to sell the whole of the real estate and the whole of the personal estate of said deceased, at private sale, and that a copy of this order be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Orange County Plain Dealer, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said County of Orange. The following is a description of the real estate and personal property hereinafter referred to, and which is sought to be sold under this petition:

All that certain piece or parcel of land and premises lying and being in the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as the South 163.5 feet of the North 480.6 feet of Lots Twelve (12) and Thirteen (13) of Miller Randolph as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 7. Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
That said personal property is all the furnishing, fixtures and fittings in the dwelling house on the above described property, consisting of household goods, kitchen furniture, beds and bedding, jewelry, silverware and tools belonging to said estate.
