Since Wednesday of last week the Wickersheim Implement Company has sold and delivered New Ford Tourings to J. R. Eberhart, Buena Park and Mrs. G. E. Rascoe of Ful-lerton, a new Ford Truck to B. L. Goodrich, and used cars to Kirk A.
Dunham, E. E. Miller, Clyde son and F. H. McKesson. They sold 25 new and used cars during past two weeks.

BUENA PARK JOINS FORCES TO SECURE DISTRICT LIBRARY
BUENA PARK, April 11.—Special
At the C. of C. meeting Monday evening the chairman appointed a committee of three to work in conjunction with the committee of ladies appointed by the president of the Woman's Club to work in the interest of a district library. Buena Park is very much in need of a library with reading room in connection for the benefit of the young people as well as every one in the community. The committee wishes for the co-operation of everyone in this district that a library may be held which will be of much benefit educationally and an improvement to our little city.
J. R. Schofield made a business trip to Santa Ana today in the interest of the Farm Center.
The P. T. A. held their regular meeting Tuesday with a good attendance. An interesting program was enjoyed by all.
A large number composed the dancing class Saturday evening, and the dancing teachers announced that if as many would be present next Saturday night they would bring with them another instructor.
Do not forget the Buena Park Fireman's Ball which will be given Wednesday evening in the Buena Park Masonic Hall.
Mrs. H. H. Covell entertained her brothers, Messrs Campbell and a sister, Mrs. Jackson of Whittler at dinner Sunday.
People of the Buena Park district have been receiving calls from the subscription solicitor of the Plain
During the afternoon the Messrs. Bladeholder and Miss Harper rendered delightful music.
The young folks responded to a request for singing.
ENTERTAINS CLUB
A very pleasant afternoon was spent on Tuesday when members of the Pinochle Club were entertained at the home of Mrs. Edgar Hartung on Sunkist-ave. At the card games Mrs. F. B. Kern was the winner of the first prize, Mrs. B. Hartfield, second and Mrs. J. E. Baker, third. Following the games a delicious lunchon was served by the hostess. The members present were Mmes, Ralph Maas, F. B. Kern, J. E. Baker, J. P. Brastad, B. H. Sldman, Pearl Hyde, B. Hartfield, Chas. Harbeson, J. T.

Mrs. E. E. Thurman came home from Banning Sunday as Mr. Thurman was quite sick but much improved now.
Mr. Hayes is able to be in the sunshine after a severe attack of genuine influenza.
The secretary of the Buena Park Chamber of Commerce sent out notices for the Monday evening meeting station refreshments would be served, but when the meeting hour arrived not either the secretary or refreshments were present and we wondered if they both stayed away together.
D. Holder is reported to have reached New York from the army overseas.
The M. E. church expects to have gas heat and lights in operation in a few days.
Mrs. Ettie M. Day and son, Kenneth, and Mrs. Day's mother, Mrs. Alice Carter have returned to Buena Park neighborhood after several months stay in Wilmington.

WELCOME SOLDIERS
GARDEN GROVE, April 11—Special—In appreciative recognition of the honorable service of their returned soldier and sailor boys, the Community Council of Garden Grove celebrated Welcome Day, April 5th, at Orange County Park, with a basket luncheon picnic.
It was estimated by the number of autos that 600 attended and enjoyed the well-selected program.
All joined in singing America. G. R. Reyburn gave a splendid address of welcome and conveyed to each soldier boy the joy of the community for his safe return home.
Mr., Reyburn complimented the Community Council for the work accomplished by that body.
The Messrs. Blaeholder, first and second violin, with Miss Harper at the piano, gave selections, the music being heartily enced each time.
Mrs. Irvine German in a pleasing manner gave a solo. A reading by Miss Mildred Spain was enjoyed.
Three rousing cheers of welcome were given to the returned soldiers. Singing the Star Spangled Banner finished the morning exercises.
The basket luncheon proved a success, for the tables fairly groaned under the load of good things to eat.
Coffee, donated by the grocers of Garden Grove, was served free to all.

M. DelGiorgio, who has a large dairy one mile southeast of Buena Park, has just completed the erection of a new steam boiler room, and new cow barn with modern iron stanchions for 60 cows. Everything is concrete and so arranged that it can be flushed out into irrigating ditches upon his ranch.

Reports filed with the State Mining Bureau for week ending April 5, show 11 wells ready to drill, making 162 since Jan. 1. There were 22 wells ready for test of water shut-off; 9 deepening or redrilling jobs and 2 abandonments.
