STUDIES FUMIGATION
A very interesting meeting of the Farm bureau was held on Tuesday evening. The subject of the meeting was "Fumigation" and a most instructive discussion of the topic was given. About 50 members were in attendance.
On Saturday the Woman's Club will serve a cafeteria luncheon at Ley Hall, catering to those attending the meeting of the Yorba Linda Water Company stockholders. This meeting will be held at 10:30 Saturday morning.
Roy DeWitt is building an addition to his bungalow.
Miss Mary Walton and Mr. Charles Porter went to Los Angeles on Monday evening to attend a St. Patrick's party.
Miss Bettie Turner was surprised by the visit of relatives from Barstow, early this week. Miss Turner returned home with them for a few weeks' visit.
Miss Bertha Schuler and Mr. Edwin Kimball helped to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the home of friends in Olinda.
Mr. Leroy Johnston entertained guests from Los Angeles on Sunday.
Mrs. Suttles of Pasadena, has been spending a few days as the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Meyers.
Mrs. E. N. Gage of Los Angeles, has been renewing old friendships in Yorba Linda this week. On Monday afternoon Mrs. Gage, Mrs. Frank Lind and Mrs. Julia Selover, motorized to Fullerton to attend the regular meeting of the Julia Ward Howe Tent, Daughters of Veterans of which they are members.
Mrs. J. W. Newell spent Tuesday will receive pay when taking brarian's place.
The ladies club of York will serve a cafeteria dinner from 12 to 1. All are invited.
