SAYS CHECK NO GOOD
W. H. Boon, a garage man of Anaheim, today swore to a complaint charging A. O. Nelson of Placentia with issuing a no-fund check. The check was issued on Dec. 10, 1918, in payment for repairs, and Boon, it is said, has been making efforts to have the matter settled without taking it into court. The check was drawn on the Placentia bank. Boon later accepted a check from the same man for $1.60 and it also came back without being honored.
