Wearing a floor length, s pleated gown of light green organza over pale aqua ta the maid of honor was Officer Roster Highlight Of Mobile Potluck Supper By HARRIET MEYER A goodly crowd attended Saturday night's Potluck Supper, which was followed by election of officers to take charge of Park Recreational Activities for the last quarter of 1964. The entire slate submitted by the Nominating Committee, appointed by Chairman Larry Bray at the last Board of Governors meeting, was voted into office, to take over as of October 1, as follows: Jim Duffy, Chairman; John Omstead, Co-Chairman; Ann Hurley, Secretary - Teasurer; Jake Fullenwider was re-elected Chairman of Out-of-Park Shuffleboard; Roy Davison was elected Chairman, In - Park Shuffleboard. Committees will be headed by Chairman as follows: Harley Johnson, Men's Breakfasts; Myrtle Stutheit, Potluck; Bob Rogers and Curtis Omstead, Game Night; Grace Christensen, Card Night; Dick and Florence Swanson, Dance; Harriet Meyer, Publicity with Viola Beckett and Dorothy Tilden as Reporters. Upon conclusion of the business agenda, Carl Reiman made a motion, duly seconded, that a vote of thanks be given to Larry Bray, Chairman, and other outgoing officers, for their interest and services rendered on behalf of Park residents during their terms of office. More than 400 volunteer workers will report for their various duties this Friday and will be housed in a community set up especially for the occasion. They will be busy until the small hours in anticipation of the early Saturday morning opening. Visitors to the two-day event will have their choice of over a dozen features at the Festival, aimed to delight guests of all ages. Children will enjoy games, rides, movies, puppet shows and various delectables. All attendants carried wicker baskets of golden yellow roses, spider crysanhemums and ivy. They wore matching Dior bows with short veils. Vocalist was Carol Anderson of Santa Ana with Douglas Anberg, brother of the bride, serving as ring bearer. Jerry Huhn of Santa Ana was best man with guests ushered to their place by Dale Ritter of Santa Barbara and Jim Haley, brother of the bridegroom, of Orange. Following the late evening nuptials, a reception was held in Church Fellowship Hall. Serving were Marilyn Davis, cousin of the bride, Mrs. Alice Bond and Karen Ostrom. Presiding over the guest book was Karen Mallory of Lakeport, Calif. Flowers highlighting the lovly reception included vanda orchids sent by a friend from Hawaii which topped the Bridegroom's cake boxes. The table was decorated with two silver candelabra with white candles and yellow and white chrysanthemums. The three-tiered cake was topped with a satin wedding bells and lace. J. Blanchar. For her honeymoon outfit the bride chose a dark turquoise rayon dress, black bow hat and black patent shoes. She also wore a green lady slipper orchid corsage which had been pinned to the rig bearer's pillow. Following a honeymoon along the coast of northern California the young couple will reside in Columbus, Ohio where Mr. Haley will attend Ohio State University Graduate School. The bridegroom was graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a major in Biology. He also is an Orange High School graduate. The bride also graduated from Westmont Heads 4-H Club Officer Slate The Orange Community 4-H Club elected officers for the ensuing year at their recent meeting. The officers are Elayne Trammell, president; Anita Trammell, vice-president; Mari Etta Clark, secretary; Elayne Powalka, treasurer; Joan Lovestedt, reporter; Savilla Sparks, club photographer; and Eileen Aust, seargent - atarms. The club will host Achievement Night Saturday.
