The circumstances of others seem good to us, while ours seem good to others. —Publius Syrus Benefit Rodeo Set At Fair Wildest stock on the range and top cowboys of the nation explode into action for the Championship Rodeo at the 1964 Orange County Fair which opened yesterday. Rodeo competition is set for four performances — Friday evening; July 17; Saturday afternoon and evening, July 18; and Sunday afternoon, July 19, the final day of the fair. Afternoon events start at 2 p.m., evening 8 p.m. Cowboys compete for national standings and the $1,800 purse, plus added entry fee money, in this R.C.A. sanctioned rodeo featuring the six standard events — saddle and bareback bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, calf and team roping. Special contest on tap for performance is the exciting Girls' Barrel Race. Trick rides exhibitions and clown acts will be added attractions. Andy Juaregui of Newhall, rodeo stock contractor in west, will be furnishing the stairs for this event and also serve arena director. The rodeo is sponsored by Orange County Rodeo Committee. Proceeds from this pay-to-see event on the fields go for benefit of county's handicapped children. Heading up the committee is Chairman Theo A. J. Kurv of Tustin and Project Chairman William C.
