Orange County, in Anaheim on Lincoln Avenue at M. Avenue (VII-Ora-178-Ana), channelization and traffic signs may be modified.
Plans and specifications, and forms of proposal, bond contract may be obtained at the above address.
No bid will be considered unless it is made on a pre-form furnished by the District Engineer, and is made in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 2, "Proposal Requirements and Conditions," of the Standard Specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in accordance with the visions in Section 2-1.07 of the Standard Specifications.
The Department of Public Works reserves the right to any or all bids.
The quantities listed in the State Highway Engineer's E-book hereinafter stated, are approximate only, being given as a basis for comparison of bids, and the Department of Public Works not, expressly or by implication, agree that the actual cost of work will correspond therewith, but reserves the right to crease or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the work, as may be deemed necessary advisable by the Engineer.
Bids are required for the entire work described herein.
Abbreviations used in the schedule of predetermined rates in conjunction with employer payments listed in the hand-columns are identified as follows:

Employer payments other than those itemized here defined in section 1773.1 of the Labor Code, are to be paid on a cordance with the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the type or classification of the workmen or an employees employed on the project.
Overtime, Sundays and Holidays—not less than one and half (1½) times the basic hourly rate plus applicable payments. The holidays upon which such rates shall be paid are all holidays recognized in the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the particular craft, classification or type of man employed on the project.
Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to work as set forth in the aforementioned Labor Code are also available for inspection in the office of the Department Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Residents.
Attention is directed to Section 7-1.01G of the Standards providing for employment of apprentices on this such apprentice shall be paid the standard wage pay apprentices under the regulations of the trades at which he is employed. Information relative to employment of apprentices be obtained from the Director of the Department of Indian Relations, who is the Administrative Officer of the Californias Apprenticeship Council.
