Announcement of his appointment as dean of social sciences and professor of psychology and sociology at UCI was made today by Chancellor Daniel G. Aldrich, Jr. Dr. March is professor of industrial administration and psychology and chairman of the doctoral program at Carnegie Tech. He has been on the faculty there since 1953, except for a year's leave of absence in 1955-56 as a Fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences at Palo Alto, Calif.
