PVT. DEWEY L. WELLS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Wells Jr., 1834 W. Elm Ave., completed a 25-week carrier equipment repair course at the Army Southeastern Signal School, Fort Gordon, Ga.
PFC FRANK L. BERNARD, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bernard, 1944 Catalpa St., re-enlisted for three years in the Regular Army, while serving as a truck driver in the 38th Transportation Battalion's 34th Transportation Company near Worms, Germany.
ALAN V. BALL, hospital corpsman second class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oben L. Hartjoy of 2531 Crescent Ave., is serving with Marine Battalion Landing Team 3/2 currently serving a tour with the Sixth Fleet in the Mediterranean.
