'Waltz' in 2nd Week On Melodyland Bill
"Anniversary Waltz," now in its second week at Melodyland Theatre, closes Sunday night. In addition to the final evening performance at 8:30, the usual Sunday matinee is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
The play is a romp for its stars Howard Duff and Anne Jeffreys, who play a young married couple celebrating their 16th anniversary. Howard and Anne have done the show together on two other occasions, and they lend a tremendous amount of realism to their roles.
Another handsome young couple who join the festivities are Edward Knight and Darlene Conway. Knight is seen as a bachelor pal of Duff's, and Darlene as his gorgeous, sexy girl friend.
As most long-married folks will attest to marital life is all milk and honey and amments and misunderstandings crop up at unexpected times even on such happy occasions anniversaries. A wow of a crowd occurs in "Anniversary Waltz" and proceedings become even more complicated at Anne's presents, played by Robert Nash and Pauline Drake, both from Broadway stage, stick th noses in the ensuing battle. By the play's end, everybody comes out roses.
"Anniversary Waltz," was hit on Broadway a number of years back and is a mainstay summer stock. Good seats still available for the remains of the run, at the theatre office and at all Southland enciences.

Member Due In Pulpit for Unitarians
The Santiago Unitarian Universalist Church welcomes one of its most prominent members to the pulpit Sunday.
M. David Riggs, an ordained Congregational minister, will present "The Faith and Facts of Fellowship" at the 10:30 a.m. service held at the Women's Club of Orange, 121 S. Center St., Orange.
Dr. Riggs serves as associate minister and minister of counseling at Faith Community Church of Compton. He works as executive director of the Lyon Mental Hygiene Clinic of Orange County, and is a lecturer and consultant in Psychology for a Long Beach school of investigation and polygraph operation.
His educational background includes degrees from Ohio Wesleyan, Yale, Kansas and the Hartford Seminary. His last degree was a Ph.D. in Religion from U.S.C.
Dr. Riggs will discuss how fellowship can be developed within the group. "Patience is not always the best answer. A group functions best when all members participate fully and constructively. Members shouldn't secretly criticize others of the group or of other groups." He further states that it is not always necessary to do good for people, but that love of people is always necessary.
The religious education program is at 10:30 a.m. and a coffee social follows the services. Information on the services may be obtained by writing P.O. Box 2606, Fullerton.
