RESOLUTION NO. 2206 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DESIGNING AN NEAATION NO. 221 AND PREScribing THE NOTICE TO BE GIVEN.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on the 14th day of January, it receive a written petition asking certain territory described therein be annexed to the City of Orange;
WHEREAS, before the filing of said petition, the proposal for annexation of the territory hereinafter is described to the City of Orange submitted to and reported upon by the Boundary Commission of the County of Orange, State of California, with respect to the definiteness and certainty of the proposed boundaries; and
WHEREAS, territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Orange is situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and contiguous to the City of Orange and is unimited territory, and said petition contained a description of said territory; and
WHERAS, the City Council of the City of Orange finds from evidence and reports received that at the time of the filing and receipt of said petition it was now is signified by owner or less than one-tenth (of) the value of one dollar.

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, Santa Ana, California, or before Wednesday the 12th of February, 1964 at 10:30 A.M. o'clock, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the room of the Board of Supervisors in the County Courthouse, Santa Ana, California, for constructing a highway in accordance with the plans specified therefor, to which special reference is made as follows:
In the County of Orange, on La Palma Avenue, between White Star Avenue and 0.12 miles west of Dowling Avenue, approximately 0.37 miles in length to be re-constructed with asphalt concrete over cement treated base to provide a minimum of four traffic lanes with curbs and gutters.

The foregoing quantities are approximate only, being given as a basis for the comparison of bids, and the County of Orange does not expressly or by implication agree that the actual amount of work will correspond therewith but reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the work, or tomit portions of the work, as may be deemed necessary or advisable by the Engineer.
The contract documents shall consist of Notice to Contractors, Form of Proposal, Form of Agreement, Plans, Special Provisions, and Standard Specifications, all of which are on file in the Office of the Orange County Highway Department and are hereby referred to and made a part hereof.
Plans, special provisions and other contract document forms will be available for examination without charge. Copies of all contract documents may be secured at the Office of the Orange County Highway Department, 400 West Eighth Street, Santa Ana, California.
Plans, special provisions (not including Standard Specifications or other documents included by reference) and proposal forms may be obtained by prospective bidders upon payment of a printing and service charge at the amount of $5.00, which amount shall not be refundable. All checks shall be made payable to Orange County Treasurer but should be mailed to the Highway Department, 400 West Eighth Street, Santa Ana, California. Copies of the Standard Specifications may be purchased for $1.56 tax included from the Department of Public Works, State of California, or the Highway Department, County of Orange, 400 West Eighth Street, Santa Ana, California.
No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished by the County Road Commissioner and is made in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Specifications and
