The Anaheim Gazette Wednesday, May 15, 1948 ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA Final UCLA Art Series Students from UCLA's Theatre Arts department will highlight a lecture given by Henry Goodman, Professor of Theatre Arts, May 16 in the Valencia Park School Auditorium, with a special performance of the one-act play, "The Tenor." Part of the University Extension Liberal Arts Lecture program, "Masks for Commentary—Tragedy and Comedy," the lecture and performance will conclude the series. Goodman will comment for the first part of the program on "Ambiguity in Con-temporary Comedy". The play, which will be the second part of the program will be in the form of a staged rehearsal with no scenery, costumes, or lights. This will enable Goodman to take the audience behind the scenes, so that they may see the process involved in performing a play.
