RESOLUTION NO. 2034
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DESIGNATING ANNEXATION NO. 214 AND PRESCRIBING THE NOTICE TO BE GIVEN.
Approx. 16 acres lying along the southwestern side of Chapman, Easterly of Alameda.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange did on the 15th day of March, 1963 receive a written petition asking that certain territories described therein be annexed to the City of Orange; and
WHEREAS, before the filing of said petition, the proposal for annexation of the territory herein after described to the City of Orange was submitted and reported upon by the Boundary Commission of the County of Orange situated in California, with respect to the deficiencies and contiguity of the proposed boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Orange is situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and continuous to the City of Orange is uninhabited territory, and said petition contained a description of said territory; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange finds from evidence and reports received that at the time of the filing and receipt of said petition it was and now is signed by owners of not less than one-fourth (1/4) of the area and not less than one-fourth (1/4) of the land in such territory proposed to be annexed, according to the last preceding equalized County Assessment Roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange finds from evidence and reports received that at the time of the filing and presentation of said petition that said new territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Orange did not form a part of any municipal corporation and that said territory was uninhabited and is contiguous to the City of Orange.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orange That such proposed annexation be designated as Annexation No. 211 and that notice of such proposed annexation be given; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 22d day of April, 1963 at the hour of 7:38 o'clock P.M., at the City Library Building, 101 N. Center Street, City of Orange, be and the same is hereby fixed at the time place when and where a person owning real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed, having objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the City Council of the City of Or-

SOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orange; That such proposed annexation be designated Annexation No. 211 and that notice of such proposed annexation be and the same is hereby given; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 22d day of April, 1963 at the hour of 12:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Library Building, 101 N. Center Street, City of Orange and the same is hereby fixed at the time and place when and where any person owning real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed, and having objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the City Council of the City of Orange and show cause why such territory should not be annexed, that all persons having objections are hereby notified to appear on said date at said hour and place to show cause, if any they have, why such territory should not be annexed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice be given that at any time before the hour set for hearing objections any owner of property within the territory proposed to be annexed may file written protest against the annexation with the City Clerk of the City of Orange; any protest are filed must conform to the provisions of Southwestern Code, and shall state the name of the owner of the property affected and the description and area of the property in general terms; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be posted not less than twenty (29) days before the hearing hereinabove provided in at least three places within this territory to be annexed and also published in the Anaheim Gazette a newspaper of general circulation published outside of the City of Orange, but in the County of Orange at least twice, but not often than once a week, that such publication shall be completed at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of hearing horsehorse specified; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Orange be and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of such proposed annexation to be mailed to each person to whom land within the territory so proposed to be annexed is assessed in the last equalized County Assessment Roll available on the date the proceedings were initiated, at the address shown on said assessment roll or as known to said City Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and the designation of lands in which he has any interest, either legal or equitable, with said Clerk; that in the event that such proposed to be annexed is the City of Orange is owned by a County, the City Clerk of the City of Orange shall also cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the Board of Supervisors of such County. The foregoing notices shall be given not less than twenty (20) days before the first public hearing on the proposed annexation.
The territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of Orange is located in the County of Orange, State of California, and described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City

Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City of Orange as established by Annotation No. 210, said angle point being 30 feet south of the centerline of Chapman Avenue as marked at right angles, said angle point being 321.8 feet West-Early and 30 feet Southerly as measured at right angles from the Northeast corner of Lot S. Block B of the Oge and Bond Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, Page 430 and 431. Miscellaneous Records, Los Angeles County, California; thence South along said existing city boundary and along the East line of that certain parcel of land recorded in Book 548, Page 566. Official Records, Records of Orange County, California, 620 feet more or less a point on the North line of Washington Street 30 feet in width; last mentioned point being on the North line of Traction No. 102, as recorded in Book 11, Page 5 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence continuing along said existing city boundary and along said North line of Traction No. 102 and along said North line of Washington Street, and along the North line of that certain land recorded in Book 5219, Page 21. Official Records, records of said Orange County, East 259.22 to the north Easterly corner of said Annexion No. 210; thence leaving said existing city boundary and along the Southern line of said Lot S. Of Oge and Bond Tract, and along the Northern line of Lot No. 5 Of Modena Citrus Lands as shown on a map recorded in Book 6, Page 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County and its Easterly prolongation to the Eastern line of Newport Avenue, 66 feet wide being also the Easterly line of the unnamed road lying Westerly of Lot 47 of said El Modena Citrus Lands; thence South 566.62 feet more or less along last mentioned Easterly line to the Southwestern line of said Lot 42 of thence S. 555° 40' N. 51.66 chains along the Southwestern line of said Lot 42 to an angle point therein; thence N. 55° 11' E. 3.86 chains;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of Orange be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to a written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to whom land within territory so proposed to be nexed is assessed in the equalized County Assessor Roll available on the date proceedings were initiated, address shown on said answer roll or as known to City Clerk, and to any person has filed his name and address and the designation of land which he may interest legal or equitable, with Clerk, that in the event that within the territory propose be annexed to the City of Orange is owned by a County, the City Clerk of the City of Orange also cause written notice of proposed annexation to be made to the Board of Supervision such County. The foregoing notices shall be given not less twenty (20) days before the public hearing on the proposed annexation.
The territory so proposed annexed to the City of Orange located in the County of Oregon State of California, and describe as follows:
Beginning at a point in the extent boundary of the City of Orange, California said point on the North line of Annexion Number 210.592.46 feet less East of the Northwest corner of town Street 30 feet East on ham Street 30 feet east on angles with the South Line Chapman Avenue 30 feet south centerline as measure right angles; thence leaving boundary line of said Annexion Number 210 and running N along the right edge of west side Earlhard Street East of said Earlhard Street east at right angles 155 feet an angle point; said angle point being 30 feet East of the co-line of Earlhard Street as measured at right angles; said point also being the North corner of Lot 15 Block "A" off P. Brown's Sub. as recorded Book 14, page 98. Miscellaneous Records Los Angeles County; thence East alone with and dividing North 155 feet from the co-line of said Chapman Avenue and along the North line of Lot 4, 5, and 6 of said Block "A"; thence N along the West lines of Lot 4, 5, and 6 of said Block "A".

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DESIGNATING ANEXATION NO. 215 AND PRESCRIBING THE NOTICE TO BE GIVEN.

THEREAS, the City Council of City of Orange did on the 12th of March, 1968 receive a written petition asking that certain information described therein be annexed to the City of Orange, and THEREASE, before the filing of petition, the proposal for annexation of the territory herein referred to the City of Orange was submitted to and received upon by the boundary Comission of the County of Orange, with respect to the definiteness and certainty of the proposed boundaries; and THEREAS, the petition referred to the City of Orange is situated in the County of Orange, State of California, continuous to the City of Orange and is uninhabited territory, said petition contained a definition of said territory; and THEREAS, the City Council of City of Orange finds from experience and reports received that the time of the filing and receipt of said petition, it was and is signed by owners of not more than one-fourth (1/4) of the land and not less than one-fourth of the assessed valuation the land in such territory proclaimed to be annexed according to the laws governing such territory.
