MUSICAL AMBASSADORS — The world-famous, well-traveled Robin Hood Band, stars of a movie called, "Musical Ambassadors," appear in Anaheim, Friday night at 8 p.m. in the Anaheim Greek theatre. DeTurk, State Parks and Recreation director. At Huntington Beach State Park, DeTurk said no surfboarding will be allowed from June 1, to Oct. 1. The park supervisor will designate and post places where surfboarding will be allowed from Oct. 1, to May 31 1963. At Bolsa Chica State Park, no surfboarding will be allowed for the same period—June 1 to Oct. 1. — except for the southernly 1,200 feet of the three-mile beach. Additional information about these regulations may be obtained from the offices of the Park Supervisors concerned. Murdy Denies Bonelli Support State Senator John A. Murdy Jr., this week denied reports that he is supporting the so-called Bonelli Plan to reapportion the State Senate. M-Sgt. Buster P. Kidder, station commander of the Army Recruiting Station located at 114 S. Los Angeles St. in Anaheim, announced this week that he has openings for three year enlistments in the Airborne (Paratroopers). In order to qualify, the applicant must be between 17 and 35 years of age in good physical and mental health and have a desire to belong to the world's greatest fighting team. Local Men Get Bank Positions Two Anaheim men have been named officers of Bank of America's soon-to-open La Palma Beach branch in Buena Park, it was announced this week by Jesse W. Tapp, chairman of the board. Tony Ediger, who lives at 2207 E. Standish Ave., will accept the management of the branch and Dave Artko, of 108 E. Wakefield Ave., will take over operations officer duties. Ediger has recently completed an intensive Bank of America management training program. He began his banking career with the Oklahoma National Bank while attending college and joined B of A in 1942 as a teller in Beverly Hills. as an aerial photographer on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. His wife, Dorotha, is active in the American Association of University Women in Anaheim. They have a year-old son, Paul. Artko joined the statewide bank last year on a special officer training program for college graduates. He was especially selected for this program when he demonstrated an aptitude for accelerated advanced officer training. A native of Chicago, Ill., he graduated magna cum laude from Chapman College with a bachelor of arts degree and earned a master of arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
