Anaheim won top place in its group for having the lowest number of disabling injuries per million man-hours worked from July 1, 1960, to June 30, 1961. This resulted in the State Compensa-tion Insurance Fund issuing a rebate check of $44,168.25 to the city. Here Thomas W. Thompson, district representative of the State Fund, presents the check to Charles E. Griff-fith; city-employe Safety Committee Chairman, and to Finance Director Beatrice Miller.
