Children's Theatre Plans Third Play
“Rumpelstiltskin” is the first play of the third annual Children’s Theatre Series sponsored by the Anaheim Park and Recreation Department. This first production will take place at the Anaheim Union High School Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 18. Two performances have been scheduled one at 10:00 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m.
This production will be presented by the Downey’s Children’s Theatre, which specializes in integrating the many and varied talents of the children involved. Adults assume only minor roles with the youngsters taking the leads. The youngsters will also paint, surface and shift the scene. They arrange for costumes make-up and props with only occasional assistance from the old-sters.
Tickets have been and are on pre-sale for the production and are still available at the Park Department, located at 309 S. Harbor in Anaheim. Tickets will also be available the day of the performance at the door.
Following “Rumpelstiltskin” will be the Anaheim Choraleers on December 16. The Choraleers will present an all-Christmas program. For further information contact the department at PR 6-0110, 256.

Bazaar and Art Fest
Set by Junior Ebell
Mrs. John Cochrane, ways and means chairman, has announced Saturday, Nov. 11 as the date for the Junior Ebell Club Holiday Bazaar and Childrens Art Festival.
The affair, which will be held at the Ebell clubhouse from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., is open to the public. There is no admission charge. There will be a wide variety of gift items available ranging in price from twenty-five cents to $10. A handmade "candy house" will be presented as a door prize.
Junior Ebell members are now selling tickets for a doll raffle to be held at the Bazaar. Mrs. Robert Paulson's committee has designed and made complete wardrobes for both a baby doll and a teenage doll. The dolls and wardrobes will be on display and tickets will be available for twenty-five cents or five for $1.
Other chairmen who have reported on items made by their committees include: Mrs. L. M.
Dunn, dried flower arrangements and artificial flower arrangements; Mrs. Jack Sappington and Mrs. Phillip Roseberry, gift items such as slippers, aprons, and decorated sweaters; Mrs. Lee Wilcox children's items and toys; Mrs. Everett Burchell, Christmas decorations; Mrs. Lauron Giersch, fruit cakes, gingerbread men and other baked goods; and Mrs. Richard Husmann, special recipes. A silhouette and caricature artist will be present.

Seafarers Elect New Officers
The Seafarers, an organization of single young adults of Orange County sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Ana, has elected new officers for the coming year.
Ready to take the helm are: Harriet Arnold of Santa Ana, navigator; Margaret Adams of Santa Ana, logbook keeper; Phil Biles of Santa Ana, purser; Terry Wade of Santa Ana, anchor mate; Doris Jacobsen of Santa Ana and Jim Jenkins of Garden Grove, shanghai mates.
Besides meeting weekly for a creative program and Christian fellowship, the Seafarers also meet during the month for social activities. They also extend their interests to people in need, and a special projects committee functions year-round reviewing, and organizing service projects.
Single Protestant young adults of Anaheim are welcome to attend the meetings which are held Sundays, at 7:30 p.m. in the Calvin Lounge of Santa Ana First Presbyterian Church, Sixth and Sycamore Sts.
Weavers' Meet
The South Coast Weavers Guild will hold its annual bazaar and fashion show in the Spurgeon Memorial Room of the Santa Ana Public Library, 8th and Rose Sts., today from 1 to 4 p.m. Handwoven fabrics and other items will be for sale.

A unique feature will be the Children's Art Festival, a display of art work done in the Junior Ebell, sponsored art classes this summer. Under the direction of Mrs. Thomas Mangan, more than sixty children, ranging in age from 5 to 12, worked with a variety of textures and techniques. Mrs. Ralph Neff, art chairman, reports that the work done by these children make a most interesting display of creative art.
Tau Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi began it's Nov. 7 meeting with a presentation from Jack Bowne, assistant superintendent for personal services of the Anaheim City School District.
Bowne spoke on the facilities of the Closed Circuit Television Studio. Anaheim City School District is one of the few to have their own broadcasting station. The presentation took place at 7:30 p.m. at the Anaheim City School District Studio.
Joining Tau Chapter was Mrs. Lloyd Klein, Mrs. Frank Michels, and Mrs. Jim Langworthy from Xi Theta Psi an Exemplar Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
After Bowne's presentation, the Chapter proceeded to the home of Mrs. Elmer Loy where Mrs. Eileen LeBrun presided over the regular meeting. Mrs. Robert Stone, ways and means, Mrs. Charles Robinson, service, along with other committee chairmen, reported on their various projects and activities. Miss Loraine Mitchell was co-hostess.
