Square Dance Hoe-Down Set For Tonight The Anaheim Lions Club's third Beginners' Square Dance graduation exercises will be held tonight at 8 o'clock in the Sunny Hills Barn, Fullerton. Jack Carter and his Country Ramblers will furnish the music. Jim Enloe will be master of ceremonies. This group, comprising 168 people, has enjoyed 20 weeks of square dancing, the proceeds of which go to the La Palma Park Recreation Building fund. All square dancers in the Orange County area are invited to join the graduating group and participate in the social activities of the evening. They are Richard Johnson, assistant treasurer and director of finance, Disneyland; R. E. Nesmith, office manager, Anaheim Truck and Transfer Co.; and Earl E. Edmonson, principal of the Norwalk Elementary School District. Square Dancing Class Will Open Beginning this evening at the St. Justin Martyr School, corner of Nutwood and Ball, a 22-week square dance class will open to all persons interested. Classes will be held every Thursday from 8 until 10:30 p.m. Registration begins tonight and closes March 2. Clarence and Florence Borrow, callers, will be the instructors. Registration fee is $1.50 per couple. Proceeds from the event will go to the church building fund. County Adds 20,430 Meters, Gas Co. Says Orange County led all other areas served by Southern Counties Gas Co. in number of active meters added during 1960. Justin M. Kennedy, the company's division manager, announced this week. A total of 20,430 active meters—representing new gas customers—was added during the year, Kennedy said. This gain of 11 percent over year-end 1959 figures was the largest numerically of any of Southern Counties' eight operating divisions. At the end of 1960 the company had 208,201 Orange County customers, he added.
