Gardner, son of Mrs. Ellen M. Snyder, 10901 Mac St., Anaheim, recently arrived in Germany and is now a member of the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Gardner, assigned to Troop G in the regiment's 2nd Reconnaissance Squadron in Bamberg, entered the Army last December and received basic training at Fort Ord, Calif. The 17-year-old soldier, son of K. L. Gardner, 3009 E. Walnut, DesMoines, Iowa, attended Western High School in Anaheim, Calif. Wisdom was born in California and lived in Anheim for six years. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Funeral services were held at Huguenot Mortuary Chapel Friday, followed by cremation. Johnson; daughters, Mrs. Pearl Trask, Mrs. Violet Lyman and Mrs. Dorothy Johnson; sisters, Mrs. Ada Luken and Mrs. Ruby Vargas; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was born in Utah and had been a resident of this vicinity for 55 years. He was a real estate broker. Funeral services were held Saturday at Hilgenfeld Mortuary Chapel, interment in Loma Vista Memorial Park. HANSEN—Karno L., of 236 Randolph St., Brea. Seaman in the United States Navy attached to the Coral Sea died from injuries suffered in an auto accident in San Jose Sunday, at 18 years of age. He was born in Anaheim. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hansen of Brea; his mother, Mrs. Muriel M. Perez of Anaheim and a number of brothers and sisters who survive. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Anaheim. The remains are being forwarded to Backs-Troutman & Kaulbars Mortuary. The funeral will be announced later. CALLAHAN—Richard H., of 500 N. Bush St., Anaheim, passed away at the Anaheim Memorial Hospital after a short illness, at 56 years of age. He was born in Greeland, Michigan, and had been a resident of Anaheim years. Mr. Calahan was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Long Beach. He is survived by his wife, Gladys F. Calahan of Anaheim; one daughter, Mrs. Mina A. Savage of Anaheim; one brother, Patrick D. Calahan of Norwalk; three sisters, Mrs. Gersaldine Salter of Aludena, Mrs. Alleen Woods and Mrs. Margaret Dean of Michigan; and three grandchildren. Rosary will be said in the Chapel of Backs-Troutman & Kaulbars Mortuary, Anaheim, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 2955 Orange St., Long Beach Friday at 9 a.m. Fr.
