Williams, 26629 Stanley. PASSING OUT CIGARS was Leonard Hall, 1774 Westmont Dr., Anaheim, whose wife gave birth to a baby boy May 11. I guess that is something to puff up about. Proud parents of a baby daughter born May 9 at Garden Park General Hospital are Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stewart, 919 S. Magnolia, Anaheim. THE ENGAGEMENT of Judith Eloise McFarland to Tryon Nils Sjisson of Inglewood was announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Thomas of Anaheim, Miss McFarland attended Anaheim High School and Fullerton Junior College. KATHY RAINEY, of Anaheim, has recently been initiated into Women's Athletic Association at Arizona State University, Tempe. Miss Rainey, 760 North W St., was eligible for WAA membership after earning 100 points. She is a freshman at ASU. The couple graduated from Anaheim Junior High and FJC. JACQUELINE JUNE MAZARRA, well known singer of stage and radio, was married to Samuel Marques Cruz in a mid-afternoon ceremony in Anaheim Community Congregational Church. The bridegroom is a prominent Anaheim businessman. The couple are making their home in Anaheim. Supervisors, in general, favored the kind of CAO office but with certain restrictions and with the knowledge that such an office would be completely subject to board. Supervisor William Phillips and the county currently had 60 departments responsible to the court and that a CAO could possibly handle the transfer of property, inter-department information, and other routine actions now handled by the board. Commencement Set for 1960 Seniors at Local Stadium Graduation ceremonies for Anaheim High and Western High schools will both be held at La Loma Park Stadium. City Hostess Newcomers Club Holds Bridge Session at Regular Meeting Mr. and Mrs. Dan McEnery and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Doving served as hosts and hostesses for the regular meeting of The Couple Evening Bridge section of the City Hostess Newcomers Club. Assorted cookies with tea and coffee were served buffet style throughout the evening. Prizes for high score went to Elmer Hamina and Mrs. Wellington Green, second place and prizes were awarded to Charles Biggs Jr. and Mrs. Elmer Hamina. Prizes Graduation Date Set at Fullerton JC A list of 405 graduates who will participate in Commencement ceremonies at Fullerton Junior College has received preliminary approval. The list, however, will probably be whittled down a score or more during final examination week, for third place were presented to Lawrence Doving and Mrs. Dan Jakle. The next regular meeting of this section will be on June 23rd. Mrs. Dan Jakle is the leader of this section. NEWCOMERS attending for the first time were Mr. and Mrs. John Lee, who moved to Anaheim from Stockton, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Weirick, who have moved to Orange County from Michigan. At the Ladies' Evening Bridge Group, held at Honold's Hut, Jean Parsons was winner of high score. The next meeting of this section will be on Thursday evening, June 18th. Mrs. Evelyn Ramsey will be the hostess. The Ladies' Afternoon Card Section of the City Hostess Newcomers Club met for their regular luncheon at the Broadway Tea room, on Tuesday, May 24th. Prizes for high school in the card games were presented to Mrs. SelPICTURED ABOVE drums; Rolly Furnas Commencement Set for 1960 Seniors at Local Stadium Graduation ceremonies for Anaheim High and Western High Schools will both be held at Laima Park Stadium. Western High Seniors will receive their diplomas June 16, at 5 p.m., the Anaheim High School graduates file before the administra-tors and members of the board of steees of the Anaheim Union High School district for their diplomas. The Ladies' Afternoon Card Section of the City Hostess Newcomers Club met for their regular luncheon at the Broadway Te-room, on Tuesday, May 24th. Prizes for high school in the card games were presented to Mrs. Selwyn Ramsey for bridge and Mrs. Evelyn Ramsey at canasta.
