(Anaheim, Thursday, May 12, 1960) Anaheim Gazette-B3 Accordionist Billy King Entertains Anaheim Women of Moose Chapter The Anaheim Women of the Moose Chapter 1473 had Billy King and his accordion for their chapter night's entertainment. Mr. King chose selections that were appropriate for the chapter night's theme. The Moosehaven chairman, Mrs. Clifford Stoddard, was in charge of the night's program and she was assisted by Mrs. Rose Deckwa, Mrs. Dee Baret and Mrs. Arlene Nible. Plans were also formulated for the combined dime-a-dip and bazaar that will be held in the new home of the Loyal Order of the Moose at 133½ No. Los Angeles St. A letter was also received from the Redding chapter inviting the co-workers who will be entitled to receive the friendship awards that will be given on May 1. Those who are making plans to attend from the Anaheim chapter are Mrs. Calvin Boyd, Mrs. Chas. Berry and Mrs. John King. With the cooperation of the entire staff of city officials, members of Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y Clubs served as "Counterpart Officers," and spent a full day with the city officials, learnring exactly what is involved in operating a city of 100,000 people. Each city official met his or her youthful counterpart at an early morning breakfast, hosted for the entire group by the Anaheim Elk Club. Following breakfast, the young people attended the routine of vital tasks that make up the city's administration. At noon the youthful officials were entertained in groups as guests of their particular counterpart official. The program terminated in the late afternoon, after a full but exciting day for the aspiring young officials. Highlight of the evening was a discussion of the recent arrangement with the Orange Theatre, in the city of Orange, where the guild will present its future productions.
