Anaheim Board of Realtors rets that the chances of selling or home, if you need to move, better than ever and are just good that you'll get your full city out of the transaction. The cheery optimism is based on the 1959 record of sales in Anaheim. THE BOARD of Realtors report it 37.5 per cent of the homes sold with it in 1959 were sold, but this percentage rose to 45.7 per cent during the final six months of the year. The total volume locally of the resale of homes was $9,132,037 and the average going price was $15,-094. The average Anaheim home sold for $14,470 in 1958. This represents an increase of 2.3 per cent in the general resale value of Anaheim residences. THE UPSURGE in resales is partly attributed to the lack of new tract homes in close-in and desirable neighborhoods, according to Glen Martin, realtor board publicist. The upsurge in sales also came despite some new problems such as the fact that financing has become more difficult. Today's buyer of resale must have more ready cash for the down payment. Another problem is that FHA appraisers aren't keeping up with the market value of homes and will appraise a home with a $15,-000 market value at $13,000.
