A6-Anahelm Gazette (Anaheim, Calif., Fri., Feb. 5, 1960) Speeding Driver Gets 20-Day Work Leave of Absence Gottfried A. Prochazka, 22, of 901 Alberta St., Anaheim, was sentenced to 20 days in Orange county jail for allegedly leading CHP officers in a 120-mile-per-hour auto chase. Prochazka, who admitted speeding south along the Santa Ana freeway, said he was in a hurry because he was afraid he'd be late to his job at Convair Aircraft Co. in San Diego. He was and will be for a while. Both boy assailants were suspended from school by special action of the board of trustees. But the ease with which your community can sell its bonds, and the interest rates it must pay, depends a great deal on the credit rating of your community. Are its industries and commerce stable and diversified? Is your community public debt light or heavy? Has your community met its prior obligations on schedule? All of these questions, and a host of others, must be answered before a credit rating can be assigned to the bonds of your community. And then the ratings can run all the way from a triple A, the best, down to the worst...a C. If your community is considering a project requiring bond financing, and would like more information on factors which tend to improve community credit ratings, contact the Municipal Bond Department of the Bank of America through our nearby branch, or call us direct. We offer, without charge, an advisory service covering not only community credit, but all phases of municipal financing. Municipal Bond Department Bank of America M.T. & S.A. When you are going to pass, it is essential that you know how to judge the distance and the speed you'll need to get safely around the car ahead. For instance, to pass an auto doing 45 miles an hour, you should do 60 mph. And you'll need about one-quarter of a mile to make the safe passing maneuver. After you have passed the car ahead, guard against a tendency to slow down too quickly.
