Club for Nixon Is Organized by Orange Backers
The city of Orange "Neighbors for Nixon" Club became the fourth officially organized club in Orange County supporting Richard M. Nixon for President in 1960, with the election of officers, at a luncheon meeting at Friedemann Hall, Orange.
Robert Hoyt, owner of Orange Furniture, and Mrs. Donald Marsh, were elected as co-chairmen of the club. James E. "Pat" Donegan, funeral director, was elected secretary, and Garland W. Coltrans, of the Metropolitan Barber Shop, treasurer. As a Democrat, Hoyt, and Republican Mrs. Marsh extend cordial invitations to people of all political faiths to join the fast spreading Nixon movement.
Orange Atty. Gordon X. Richmond, chairman of the organizing committee for the Orange County Committee of 10,000 for Nixon and a member of the Advisory Committee in the formation of the Orange Nixon-for-President Club, conducted the meeting.
