ORDINANCE NO. 1392
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONES IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THEREIN BOUNDARIES OF SAID ZONES; DEFINING THE TERMS USED THEREIN; PROVIDING FOR ADJUSTMENT; AMENDEMENT AND ENFORCEMENT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION AND REPEALING ALL SECIONS OR PARTS OF SECTIONS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did herefore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereafter mentioned and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and did duly hold and conduct said public hearing to consider such proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and did record changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No. 250, Series 1958-59, of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 14th day of July, 1959, at the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed change or changes of zone, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the day of September, 1959, and that a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 22nd day of September, 1959 by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN; Coons, Fry, Pearson, Thompson and Schutte.
NOES: COUNCILMEN; None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN; None.
AND I PURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim approved and signed ordinance on the 22nd day of September, 1959.

AND REFERENCE OF SECOND CONFLICT THEREIN
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN ALLOWS:
REAS, the City Planning section of the City of Anaheim before daily pass and adoption declare its intention to be the boundary of the area mentioned and did fix a time and for the holding of a public thereon in the manner and described in Article DX, Chapter 1 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and hold and conduct said publication to consider such pro-change of zone or zones, and give evidence and report them to did adhere to a change or changes of set forth in Resolution No. 1958-59 of the City Plan commission; and
REAS, upon receipt of the and recommendation of the planning Commission, the City did fix the 14th day of April, the time and the Council for the City Hall of the City at the place, for a publication upon said proposed change of zone, and did give no notice in the manner and as in said Article DX, Chapter 1 of the Anaheim Municipal Code;
REAS, at the time and place public hearing the City did hold and conduct such hearing and did give all pertinent therein an opportunity heard and did receive reports, and did thereupon provide the recommendations of city Planning Commission, and prepuce adopt Resolution No. 1958-59 of the Zone should be made or changes of zone be made forth in said resolution.

Section 240.14. EXCLUSIONS.
The provisions of Section 240.10 shall not be deemed to require a permit for the following:
(a) For the use of a radio or music recording machine, or jukebox in any establishment.
(b) For any entertainment provided for members and their guests at a private club where admission is not open to the public.
(c) For entertainment conducted in connection with a regularly established recreation park, circus or fairground.
(d) For entertainment conducted by or sponsored by any club society or association organized or incorporated for benevolent, charitable, dramatic or literary purposes having an established
City Clerk shall certify to the City of Anaheim the same to be printed once in the Anaheim Gazette, a paper of general circulation, published and circulated in city, and thirty (30) days from its final passage it shall be accepted by the City Council and signed by me this 22nd September, 1956.

AMENDING ARTICLE VI, CHAPTER 2 PART III OF THE ANAHEIM ENTRY CODE BY AMENDING THE TITLE TO SAID PART; AND BY ADDING NEW SECTIONS THERETO TO BE NUMBERED $240.10 THROUGH $240.14
