Health and Welfare payments shall be made in accordance with the Southern California Master Labor Agreement.
All foremen, unless separately classified, shall be paid as provided in May 1958 revision of the A.G.C., R.C.A., H.B.J., E.G.C.A., A.F.L.O., Southern California Master Labor Agreement.
Apprentices may be employed in conjunction with Work Section 1777.5 of the California Labor Code.
The rates of per diem wages for each of the various classifications of work shall be the hereinbefore set forth prepaid rates of hourly wages multiplied by eight. Eight hours shall constitute a day's work, it being understood that in the event that workers are employed less than eight hours per day, the per diem wage for each hour wage herein established that the number of hours of employment bears to eight hours.
The overtime rule establishing the rates of overtime and holiday work shall be in accordance with the following: Where a single shift is worked, eight hours of continuous employment, except for lunch periods, shall constitute a days' work beginning on Monday and continuing through Friday each week. Where work is required during a night work period in one day or during the interval of time from 5:00 o'clock P.M. Friday and 12:00 o'clock midnight such work shall be paid for at the minimum rate of one and half times the basic rate of wages, and on Sundays and holidays such work shall be paid for at the minimum rate of double the basic rate of wages, except as otherwise provided by the A.G.C., B.C.A., H.B.I., E.G.C.A., A.F.L., C. I. O., Southern California Master Labor Agreement.
Holidays as herein referred to shall be deemed to be New Year's Day, Decoration Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Armistice Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If any of the above mentioned holidays other than Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered a legal holiday.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay no less than ten percent of wages to all laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract.
Each big bin must be made out on a form to be obtained at the office of the City Clerk or the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim and should be accompanied by a certified or cash-approved copy.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit, copies of which may be obtained from the City Clerk.
The successful bidder or bidders shall be required to enter into a contract with the City of Anaheim in the manner and form approved by the City Attorney of the City Of Anaheim.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality to the extent permitted by law, and reserves the further right to make an award to the lowest responsible bidder found and determined to serve best interests of the City Of Anaheim.
