FRUIT SALAD DRESSING
Mash 3-ounce package of cream cheese. To it add 1 tsp grated orange peel; 3 tbsp. orange juice; 1 tsp lemon juice; 2 tsp sugar and ¼ tsp salt. Beat until fluffy. Good with any combination of fresh fruits and lettuce.
Rainbow Ice Cream Cake
Cut a long (9" or 10") loaf of angel food cake lengthwise into three layers. Spread a pint of strawberry ice cream on bottom layer. Put on second layer, spread with a pint of chocolate or mint ice cream. Put on top layer. Put to freeze while you whip hive pint of heavy cream. Swirl and flavor lightly. Quickly cake all over with cream, skile with coconut, and puf back freeze. When hard, wrap store in freezer. Serves 8. H well up to month.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the State Highway Engineer, Room 400, Division of Highways Building, 120 South Branp street, Los Angeles, California until 2 o'clock p.m. on July 31, 1958, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in Lecom II of general bushing, for construction on state highway in accordance with the specifications therefor, to which special reference is made, as follows:
Orange County, in Buena Park on Grand Avenue at La Pauma Avenue, in Anaheim on Stanton Avende at Lancoun Avenue and on Low Angeles Street at Bad Road and in any area banta Ana on Main street at Deini Road and Broadway Place (VII-Ora-171, 178, 2, 184-BrK,Ana,ASA), channelization to be constructed and traffic signal systems and highway lighting to be turned on, installed and mounted.

Plans, specifications, and standard proposal form to be used for budding on this project can only be obtained at the office of the State Highway Engineer, Public Works Building, Sacramento, California.
Plans and specifications may be seen at the office of the State Highway Engineer at Sacramento, at the offices of the District Engineers at Los Angeles and San Francisco, at the office of the District Engineer of the district in which the work is situated, and at the office of the Associated General Contractors in San Francisco.
No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished by the State Highway Engineer and is made in accordance with the provisions of the Proposal Requirements and Conditions set forth under Section 2 of the Standard Specifications. Each bidder must be licensed and also prequalified as required by law. (See said Proposal Requirements and Conditions)
The Department of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
